Where it all began.

Remember when you finished high school? Back in the time that you used to have no responsibilities or struggles, until you had to make the big decision that was going to affect your future professional career. As a fashionista, the right way to fulfill your purpose, was making a big change. So, you hesitated between moving to the giant metropolitan city called New York, or Paris, the capital of fashion.

The Big Apple, Here You Come!

When you first landed in New York, you felt like a little ant in this new world. The contrast between living in a small neighborhood and the most populated city made you feel strange at first, until you met your new friend Asuka. She travelled all the way from Japan to do an internship and work for the renowned designer, Marc Jacobs. You guys clicked instantly because of your newly arrival to this country and your mutual passion for fashion. Asuka was also a very ambitious girl, just like you. You guys really wanted to start a clothing brand together, but Parsons School of Design accepted your application. It was a really tough choice.

You and Asuka formed a fabulous duo, understanding each other's visions and ideas just like long time friends. Your task was to do the pattern making and sewing, while she was styling the garments and marketing the brand. Because of her having Marc Jacobs in contacts, it opened a lot of doors for us. For example, we got invited to an exhibition during the fashion week to show our product, but we also had a collaboration meeting with Rohan, an up and coming artist. Both events arrived on the same day, you and your partner had to make a crucial choice.

You went to meet Asuka at the entrance of the Balenciaga exhibition, but she was nowhere to be found. She was not answering her phone either. While waiting, a nicely dressed gentleman offered you some help to find your way around. You accepted the offer gracefully, forgetting your late partner. You felt bad at first for Asuka, until you realized that the man helping you was the head director of the awaited fashion show. The opportunity was in front of your eyes, and you took it when you had the moment. It all worked out. You and Asuka got offered to work on the next Balenciaga collection after you showed him your brand. You both continued to work for the famous brand for the rest of your career.

Rohan.

At first, you were not so sure to go meet with Rohan, but Asuka insisted and convinced me that it would be good to get ourselves known. You should have trusted your gut, Rohan was a fraud, theft was ingrained in him. After the long collaboration meeting, you noticed that he blocked our accounts on social media. Then, we realized that he plagiarized all of the ideas that you have presented during the meeting. He sadly became famous and you did not.

Fashion Design School.

You are pulling off straight A's wow! The teachers are loving your unique sense of style and the complexity of your craft. Despite this, you were struggling at finding ideas for your final school project. You had two completely different inspirations in mind. First, there was Walter Van Beirendonck, a funky Belgium designer. Then, there was also Rohan, an up and coming New York artist.

Parsons School of Design announced that your garment collection was the greatest since Tom Ford and offered you help to start your avant-garde clothing brand. Matières Fécales became an international success, and you have become a millionaire at only 23 years old!

At first, the collection was a success, until the inspiration, Rohan, called you out for plagiarism. You became a shame to your teachers, and you got ejected from the school's program. You suffered depression and started doing hard drugs. You died of a heroin overdose.

Paris treated you very well, you have made some connections in the underground music scene given that you went to a lot of concerts since you arrived to the big city. You were now hesitating between making a career in music, and fashion.

You were struggling at finding what is your music genre, you have been a mainstream pop listener your whole life, so it would be natural to go in that direction. However, you have discovered a niche genre emerging in Paris called Electrorap, and you wanted to experiment it.

Micheal Jackson.

You have tried so much to do your own original style of music, but it just would not work. After all the rejections, you were feeling burnt out, you wanted to give it all up. Then someday, you saw a street performer impersonating Charles Aznavour, and he gathered a huge crowd while honoring the French singer. You have then decided to do the same, you started posing, singing, and dancing as the worldwide pop star Micheal Jackson. Surprisingly, the Paris citizens did not like it at all, so you ended up as a homeless king of pop.

Since you had a lot of connections in the underground music scene, it was somehow easy to get relevant and respected. When you published your first track online, you instantly blew up. You became an icon of this new genre called Electrorap, with over 10 diamond records and a Grammy nominated album.
