At the end of high school. I was unsure of what to do next. I had two options that were available to me.

I decided to continue studying, so I applied to the Cegep of Sherbrooke College to study Social Science. I wasn't sure about my choice because I didn't get straight'As. At the end of my first semester, I had the option of continue studying Social Science or quit College. What should I do?

I love my career.
I decided to go directly to work, so I applied to the Canadian Forces. Being a trainee on the Canadian army was difficult but amazing at the same time. The only drawback of this career is the low wage at the beginning. Fortunately, I had a good trainer. He showed me all the ins-and-outs of this career. I quickly learned the ropes of being a soldier and, after two years of work and dedication, I was promoted to the rank of corporal. After this promotion, I had the opportunity to undergo training to become a sergeant or continue as a corporal. What should I do?

Why college it's so hard?
I decided to continue my studies on Social Science. I wasn't happy, I did a cursory job in mostly of my courses, but I was able to pull of a passing grade in all of my courses. It was maddening for me. As the second semester came to a close, I was faced with the opportunity to change my carer path. This left me wondering, what career should pursue?

Work hard.
I started working in a company of car insurance. Unfortunately, I faced all the bias of my colleagues due to my young age. I had to put a hard work to be recognized. Through this experience, I learned about the office politics involved in this job. After three years of working and dedication, my boss offered me the opportunity to become a manager in office of Montreal or remain a supervisor in Sherbrooke. I am unsure of what to do.

One of the best decisions of my life.
I decided to train becoming a sergeant which required me to spend three months at a military base in Quebec. While physically challenging, it provided me an invaluable experience. This training taught me how to be a true leader. As a sergeant, I had a premium wage. Following this decision, I started a family with my wife, had children, and have since enjoyed a peaceful and happy life.

A bad decision.
I decided to continue working as a corporal. I didn't like my job, most of the tasks were annoying like doing paperwork or cleaning the guns and, more often than not, I was absent for the courses and the training. So, I decided to quit and go back to Colombia. I finished working as a constructor.

My first semester was challenging, as I struggled with courses such as anatomy and physiology and chemistry. However, I was finally able to study something that I truly enjoyed. Despite this, my time management skills were poor and then found myself rushing through assignments. Most of the time, I decided to put aside my homework and procrastinate. My teacher advised me to prioritize my homework and better organize my time. What should I do next?

I decided to follow the advice of my teacher, so I prioritized my homework instead of procrastinating and organized my time management. As a result, my grades were getting better. I was so excited and, I bought my first stethoscope. In the second semester, I did have an internship. Which hospital should choose?

The hospital of Sherbrooke.
I decided to do my internship at hospital of Sherbrooke. I was exciting, the first day, my supervisor showed me all the tasks that a respiratory therapist normally do. She showed me how to use a laryngoscope and, we assisted as doctor during a laryngoscopy. At the end of the day, I was tired. My second day of internship I had two choices.
Choice 1 : stay at home
Choice 2 : Assist to my second day of internship
The second day.
On the second day, I learned how to use a disposable resuscitator on a real patient. I saw many patients with asthma, one of them had an infection called bronchitis. My supervisor told me to give them their medication. Should give him his inhalator or let my supervisor, do it?

I decided to give him his medication. My supervisor congratulated me. Now I'm finishing my second semester on Respiratory and Anesthesia Technology, I want to become a respiratory therapist and, I'm excited about what's coming next.
