The end of the beginning.

It was the end of high school. I wasn't sure what to do next. Two choices were available to me.

Choice 1 : The best idea in my life

Choice 2 : The other choice

Apply in a college.

I apply to Cegep de Sherbrooke because it's close of where I live. I apply in special care counselor because I loved to take care of people and help them in present or our future.

Choice 1 : I love it so much !

Choice 2 : I hate it and quit the Cegep

Apply in a DEP.

I decide to look what is offers to me in a DEP and what type is look interesting. No, one look interesting for what I am or what I like to do in my future life. So, I continue to work at my student job and never love what I do.

Choice 1 : Start over

I'm in love with the program.

I'm loving it so much the program of special care counselor. I am now officially a trainee, and I'm doing my on-the-job training so with that I can learn the ropes. After 3 years of school, I can search for a job with premium wage.

Choice 1 : I want to work with old people

Choice 2 : The kids look nice to work with too

I just want to quit the Cegep.

It's the worst idea in my life. I didn't love the program I'm in. In depth, it's not what I was thinking about, so I just left the program, and also I'm didn't get straight A's. Also, the class or teacher didn't give me a foot in the door.

Why these people?

I liked to work with old people because them had wanted to show you and learn you some of the things they know or have it before. But I can go in two opposites ways.

Choice 1 : The old people they starts their retirement

Choice 2 : The itinerant when is living outside

Why you want to work with kids?

Working with kids or adolescents it's not an easy job. You argue with them or control many of their emotions because they don't know how to do that. But in witch place I can do that, I want to do this.

When I worked with these people, I'm going to help them because they don't have a house or a family. My purpose is too helped them to search for a job and after a house. Is invaluable for me because everybody needs a home and living correctly.

I'm going to work with people they already have their retirement because in many time they can't live alone, so they are in residence. They are set aside because they mind are reduce and need help for simple task like take a shower or going in the bathroom.

While I was working in high school, the students was very fun. They have many problematic likes ADHD or TSA because I was working in a DIM class. The kids loved give attention or hug when it's difficult or just love it. I have to always get a look if everyone is following the class otherwise I lost one person. I am doing one for one it's simple for us to help every student correctly.

Are you sure you want to enter this circle I hope you are ready for this. In every shift I do, I'm going to argue with these kids because they don't want to live here, or it's just because they want to argue. It's difficult and hard for our head. I'm doing also one on one for changing many behaviors was not accepted in society or dangerous.

volunteering.

In my experience, I already have do volunteering with itinerant. I wanted test drive the customers and see what I'm going to do with these. It's an easy but not really job. I search for a job with them. Something they going to love, or their think is look like interesting. After, I rest in contact with them for sure they go to work. When they have to greet salary, with us we search for a house or an apartment because they don't live in the street for the rest of their lives.

work with old people, you don't have personal space.

While I was doing my job with the old people, one of them doing a sexual harassment to me. It was very special, and I'm not doing good after that. He put his hand on my down back and ask me something. This is an act ingrained to him, but for me is very special and not normal. This is misconduct. But I don't really know what I'm supposed to do.

love help.

I love it so much work and help peoples like this. This is my dream job, and I was going to rest in this class forever I work in this place.

boss did illegal things.

When I was engaged in youth center, I didn't know that. It was a dead-end job for me. My colleague withholding my evolution note because he undermines and change change little information for after is like him he wrote. After my boss is anger after me because I didn't do my job correctly according to him. So, I just decide to going away of this place and never come back.

I realized after 5 months is not my dream job, but I like it as well. I don't really know what to do.

I did all my time I was supposed to do. I really love it, and I'm going to search for a job in this meaning because this job is me.

it's scary.

It was the scariest job I have done in my life. The person I see every day scary me because their clothes were dirty, and they ate everything they can eat. I have big bias on them after that. I decide to leave my volunteering and got a speech from my boss.
