The Beginning.

I started college at the college of Thetford Mines. I started in accounting, but, after my first year, I didn't knew if I should stay in that program or change for something I would like better.

Choice 1 : Stay in accounting

Choice 2 : Change program for social sciences

My choice.

I finaly decied to go in social sciences. I tought it was the better thing to do for me because I didn't really like accounting, so I knew that wasn't what I wanted to do for the reste of my life.

Choice 1 : Go to university

Choice 2 : Stay with only a college diploma

University.

I decided that I wanted to continu my study. But, I still wasn't sure of what I wanted to do later. I tried to talk to my parents, ask people around me what they tought would suit me, but, in fact, it made me more lost than before. I wanted to choose something that I was sure I would like because I didn't want to start something again and have to change because I didn't like it once again. So, I finally had to chose between two careers.

Choice 1 : Go in dental hygienist and go to university later to be a dentist

Choice 2 : Go directly to university in preschool teaching

Teaching.

I chose to go in teaching, I always loved kids and I would love to be able to make a difference, even if it's just a little one, in students lives. I think that's the job that suit me best because I always had that idea in mind but never made the move to do it. So, I think that job will make me very happy because a part of me always wanted to do that. Now, I needed to choose at wich school I wanted to apply to.

Choice 1 : Apply to Laval university

Choice 2 : Apply to Sherbrooke university

The final choice.

I had the choice to go at the university that I wanted, but from the beginning, Sherbrooke university was calling me. I don't really know anyone at Laval, so going there would be just versy stressfull for me. I chose Sherbrooke university because, one my boyfriend is from Sherbrooke so I could be closer to him, two, my bestfriends are going to Sherbrooke too. So, I think that going to Sherbrooke is the best choice for me, not juste because my boyfriend or my friends are there, but because I actually really like the city, I like the people there, the campus seem awesom and I think that I'm going to have a lot of fun there. Plus, I already know like the path to go there I like that it's pretty easy to go there there's not to much traffic and I'm kinda close to my family that is staying here at Thetford Mines.
