It's already Monday morning, you check the fire truck, everything look good. As you close the door, you get a fire call. You arrive at the scene you see a lot of smoke coming out of the house. Do you enter the house to see if somebody is still in there or wait for the fire hose?

Good choice your now in the fire station 1, the fire station with the second most interventions in Laval. As you were preparing dinner you get a call for a person in a cardiac arrest. You get your place in the fire truck. When you arrive in front of the house, you realise that's the house of your best friend. Do you tell your coworkers or not?

Nice job, you choose the station that gets the most intervention in all of Laval. You salute all the firefighters at the station you get an intervention for car accident. When you arrive at the scene you see that one of the drivers is still in their car, so you approach the car. When you arrive at the window you see that he is unconscious, so you get him out of the car quick and start the CPR. The paramedic arrive 5 minutes later and take the victim with them. A camera and a journalist approach you and ask you if the person is okay and want to ask you a couple of questions. Do you answer them or call your chief, so he could answer them?

You enter the house to make sure nobody is still there. You run in the house searching for somebody the fire surround you. Your blocked inside. You call for help on your radio, but you didn't test it at the station. The fire climbs on you. You can't do anything. You should have wait for your team and the fire hose. At least you got an article about you in the newspaper.

The officer looks at you and tell you to wait outside. No need to get traumatized on your first day. After the intervention the officer come to you and tell you that you made the right choice. Go back to the station.

You don't tell your coworkers because you think that you need to be brave to be a firefighter. You enter your friend's house and see him on the floor not breathing. Their partner recognizes you and scream at you to save him. You touch him and he is already cold. You freeze not knowing what to do or how to tell your friend partner that you can't do anything. Your officer says that you should have told him that you knew the victim. After 10 minutes, you still can't move. You're in post-traumatic shock. You need to see a psychology professional.
