At the end of college in Sherbrooke, I had problems figuring out what I was going to do from myself. I still wanted to get a higher education, but I still wanted to follow my dream. Should I choose to become a physical education teacher or follow my dream of becoming a pro golfer?

Choice 1 : Physical education teacher.

To become a physical teacher, you kind of needs good grades. In college, I wasn't having the best grades, so I had to find another way to get into my program.

Because I needed money and experience to get into my program, I thought it would be a great idea to send my resume to a school for some replacement. With that, I could hope to get into my university program at 21 years old with experience. Furthermore, it could be a great opportunity to put a foot in the door and get invaluable experience.

After getting a call from an elementary school, I started working two days a week as an intern. At first, all the kids moving around and screaming were a little bit overwhelming. After a week teaching there, all the kids were listening when it was the time to, and they seemed to respect myself. After two years working there, I got accepted in my program because of my experience and my college degree.

Do some replacement in high school.

After getting a call from a high school, I started replacing there two times a week. In high school, the job was really difficult because the students weren't listening to what I was saying, and it was kind of a lack of respect from them. The school didn't want me anymore after a month because I lost the control once of a class. Then, I went home and started a depression because I would not be able to do what I like for work.

Volunteering abroad.

Because I needed experience to get into my program, I wanted to go volunteering abroad. It would be nice to travel and learn the ropes of another culture and the work space of the physical education teacher in it.

After spending a lot of times teaching in another country, I ended up being sucked up in a culture that I could now never leave. The high school there offered me a permanent position as a physical education teacher, and I decided to accept it! I am now stuck in another country for ever, but I get to do what I like the most.

After volunteering abroad, I had enough experience to get back in Canada and get into my program. I applied to the University of Sherbrooke, and got accepted within two days after.

Become a professional golfer.

Because my grades aren't the best, I decided to follow my dream of becoming a professional golfer. For that, I needed to find a way to get to the best level, and into the big leagues.

To maybe one day become a pro, I decided to join a golf team which will help me play more under pressure, and having a coach that will come in handy with my swing and exercise. After introducing the golf team, the coach gave me the option of doing tournaments right now or continue practicing before. Should I do tournaments or practice before doing some?

After deciding to do tournaments, I competed and the results weren't good. This led to having a bad reputation with the members of the team who are undermining you. The confidence was now at is lowest, and I got the same result from my third tournament. I finally decided to leave the golf team, because apparently golf isn't made for me. I ended up in a dead-end job and withholds from my dream.

Practice.

You chose to practice which led to be respected by all the team-mates and the coach. You're swing is now the best from the team, and you can begin to do tournaments now.

After waiting for another year of overtime practice, you decide to to your first tournament, and you win it! You are now feared by all the players in this league, and you become famous and worthwhile. Eventually, you become a professional golf because you are one of the most talented players on earth. You are fulfilled for life.

Do tournaments now wasn't the best idea. In fact, you lose the first five tournaments of the year. After a while, you begin to climb the leader board, but you abolish you're coach because he is annoying. You then win a tournament, and start being recognized by all the players.

Getting into professional golf alone.

Grinding to become a pro golfer alone is something really hard. The travelling, the food, the entry of tournaments, and the gear is so expensive. You need money for that, but now you are not winning. The purpose of becoming a pro golfer is something that you need to work really hard for. You now feel like it is impossible. You chose to work for the golf fees or become a golf teacher?

Choice 1 : Work to get money for the golf fees.

Choice 2 : Become a golf teacher.

You try working for the fees for a little while. You start to realise that keeping a job is taking too much time from your golf game. You finally decided to keep the job, and leave this dream in the past.

Teaching golf is another way of being a professional golfer. It is the best I could have hoped for. In fact, I am making a lot of money while doing my passion, teaching sports. After doing it for a while, I realized that it was a good test drive to start my own company or enter a school golfing team.

The company you try to start is not working. People think you are not good enough, and the advice you give are not good at all. Your company fails, and you need to do something for a living.
