It was my final year of high school. Throughout the year, I had a lot of questions about what should I do after graduating. I was really perplexed because a big gastronomic school was very appealing to me and offered me a scholarship but my big dream since I was a child was to continue in psychology, and I also had an opportunity.
Choice 1 : Gastronomic school.
Choice 2 : Psychology course.
I chose to go to the prestigious gastronomic school with the scholarship! I enter the school, and I have straight A's. It is really natural for me and everything is going smoothly. For our first year we are considerate like a trainee on-the-job-training. While in a class of pasteurization of cheese a fire start in front of my colleague!
Choice 1 : Go away from the fire.
Choice 2 : Try to help.
I chose to go start my psychology course in Montreal! I will admit that it is a challenge this program: there is a lot of homework, projects and research to do. It can be overwhelming all at the same time.I made friends in some of my classes. At the end of the session another student ask me id I want to cheat on the project about self-awareness, social norms and visual perception with him. I am not quite sure if it is the right thing to do, but I have so much stuff right now going on1.
Choice 1 : Cheat on the project.
Choice 2 : Reject the proposition to cheat.
When I see the fire in front of me, I feel a lot of fear and my first instinct is to ran away. Another brave student takes his courage and go help my colleague, and he is successfully saving the situation. Since I was the only student to ran away I am not taken seriously in the school. The day after the fire the school principal is convoking me and explain to me that they have to " let me " go because of misconduct with my pairs and invaluable. Without the scholarships I have no money, and I have no other choice to go back to my parents.
Choice 1 : Start again
When I see the fire in front of the other intern I have he urge tho help her., so with purpose I go like a hero and top the fire from expanding. This day, I saved a lot of people, but unfortunately I was burned by the fire. I can't practice cooking anymore like I would love to do it. A ceremony is organized for me, and I received a big medal and a lot of money, so I am not that sad.
Choice 1 : Start again
I chose to cheat on the project with my friend. It's true that I have a good grade, but I do not think it is my best work maybe I could have done better with more implication and without even cheating. The teacher while giving us the copy ask for a meeting with me and my friend.
Choice 1 : Go alone.
Choice 2 : Go with my friend.
I chose to not cheat on the project and just to use all of the mechanisms to study and work that we learnt in class to do my project. I use tie management and use my working memory to help my behavior while doing the research. I pull of a straight A from this project. The teacher thinks that my work is incredible and propose to me an internship in Europe because there is a vacant position in the psychology course.
Choice 1 : Go to Europe.
Choice 2 : Stay at my college in Canada.
I decided to go to the meeting alone. There, the teacher said that he knew that I cheated. He is taking the role of a perpetrator and say that to set aside this mistake for me. He is clearly does sexual harassment to me. It is not a little bit of flirtation. I say a big no, and I go away, and I never come back to this school! After that moment, I found my organization to fight against sexual harassment.
Choice 1 : Start again
I chose to go at the meeting with my friend. He asks us if we cheated on the project together. My friend starts crying, and he is saying that it was my idea from the start. Without even letting me explain me and the real situation I am being expulsed form the school. I go back to my parent without any choice.
Choice 1 : Start again
I chose to take the big opportunity. I start as an intern while doing my degree in psychology. I learn a lot of things specifically about exposure therapy, mood disorders, coping mechanisms, stereotype, sociodramas and implicit bias. More and more I am learning more and more I am sure that it is what I love to do. While in a night in the streets of Europe I met the love of my life, and he has a lot of money.
Choice 1 : Marry him and stop working.
Choice 2 : Marry him and keep working.
I chose to stay in Canada to be more present for my family and friends. Unfortunately, my studies and the education system is really hard on me and my mental health, and I am living a lack of investment in my career. I put aside my studies, and I take a leave of absence in my career. I try to have a dead-end- job for a long time, and I do not go back to my initial studies.
Choice 1 : Start again
I marry this man that I met in Europe. He has a big income, and he propose to me that I stop working and retire. I say yes and start a simple life with him and my 2 children. We chose to buy a house in the countryside. Sometimes when I am older I regret my decision to stop working so young.
Choice 1 : Start again
He proposes to me and we are getting married! I am finishing my degree and graduate from my university. While doing all off that my internship goes to an end. I am getting a job in a big psychologist practice. I am having two kids with the love of my life. It really goes great with my research on antisocial personality disorder, lucid dreaming and operant conditioning that I am offered a job in Harvard to continue my research but also to teach about therapy, phobia and unconscious mind.
Choice 1 : Stay in Europe.
Choice 2 : Go teach at Harvard.
Even if the proposition is really incredible I chose to stay in Europe to not disturb the teenage life of my kids. When I go in retirement my boy play for the PSG and my girl became a big pop star.
Choice 1 : Start again
My family and I go to Boston for this opportunity. They obviously do a leg work and a background check on me before that. I love my new job. It is a little bit hard at first for me and my family to learn and relearn the new social norms and social constructs of Boston but the adaptation is faster than I thought. We live a happy ever after life!
