The Beginning.

After many years, I finished all of my courses of Cegep. I was in visual Arts, and many opportunities are open to me. I wanted a job related to video games or in arts. My parents said that I am all alone from there, and they will not help me if anything happens. What should I do?

Started OJT as a Contempory Artist.

I started as a trainee in the world of art. Other contemporary artists helped me with the ins-and-outs of this job. The first step was to found my artistic approach, so I could be exposed. I started my career with abstract at changing it to figurative. One day, a client asked me if I took order or a still life with an atmospheric perspective of a landscape in the background. Politely, I replied I will not, and he started to threat me. After that event, I wanted some change in my life.

Choice 1 : Decided to go to New York.

Choice 2 : Worked as a Gallerist.

Started an Internship in Montreal.

I decided to go to Montreal to work as an internship in an Indi studio. They placed me with a concept artist, and I learned the ropes in this industry. I practiced my composition to match with the world the character was in, but also their silhouette, so we could identify them better. Furthermore, I learned how to do texture map on objects, and clothes. During Sunday, I went to work to pick up some documents, and I understood, by looking at the computer, that my boss was a thief. As an intern with already a foot in the doors, I quickly made an excuse to go somewhere else.

Choice 2 : Accepted to Work for Larian Studio.

Volunteering Abroad in Japan.

I heard from the news at the TV there was an earthquake that made huge damages in Japan. So, I went there for helping villages in the countryside. During the construction of some residences many people made comment how I came in handy, and I made a difference in their life. The time I passed there was invaluable, and after many months I practice my Japanese with them. However, at a certain time, I had no money left because of the life cost. My new purpose was to find a job.

Choice 1 : Apply to Become a Level Designer at Nintendo.

Choice 2 : Worked at a Fast Food.

Decided to go to New York.

I did research, and I found out there were places in a famous center of artists to New York. They provided canvas in the basement, so as soon as possible, I started painting. During my free time, I discover a new medium call watercolors. Pigments were beautiful, and I decided to switch it with acrylic. On the other hand, it was more difficult to sell because there was corruption between the artists. It was ingrained in the system just to keep the same art style to sell for costumers. Sponsor bribed them, and I was not satisfied with my environment.

Choice 1 : Made a Revolution.

Choice 2 : Started my Own Company.

Worked as a Gallerist.

Before I got hired by the HR, they made a quick background check. They asked me questions about my relation with arts, and, if I had the ability to talk well with costumers. Later, they explain I took a vacant position from an employee who had a burnout. They guaranteed a good wage, and I started working. During a visit with people, I was a victim of a misconduct from a coworker. I endured this situation many years, and I became sick at the same moment. I knew I needed to get out of this place.

Choice 1 : Decided to leave of Absence.

Choice 2 : Took the Compensation Package.

Accepted to Work for Ubisoft.

After the studio from Montreal, I wanted something bigger, and I chose Ubisoft. I continued as a concept artist, and I acquired many new competences like making modeling on computer or even making prop design. I was not doing just character design, I succeed to make a really nice concept for the project. While we were passing to the production, and I was making iteration for the next game, we received a mail about another company that stole our idea. Fortunately, we made a deal, and won this war against them. Now, I had the recognition from my coworker and I could inspire more than my position.

Choice 2 : Became Supervisor.

Accepted to Work for Larian Studio.

The atmosphere was really nice and me start making incredible work as a team even if I was new. Together, we start an open world about Donjon and Dragon. I must do the moods of the places depending on the history of the room, and the thumbnail sketches to make good environment. We use different software for the sketches like Maya and Procreate. Suddenly, when we were on a big rush, my boss left without a word, and it was chaos. Should I took this opportunity?

Apply to Become a Level Designer in Japan.

It was really difficult to made in here because there were so many people that apply at the same time as me. Luckily, I had an advantage compare to others, because I could speak three languages. They even offer me a premium wage for this job. As a level designer, I had created a blockout first to know where to put the greyboxes, and finally made a layout so the game artist can send me back their products. During the years I was there, I was always tired. We had too many things to do, and not enough time to complete it. In the end, I made a burnout.

Choice 2 : Returned to Quebec.

Worked at a Fast Food.

I started working at a popular Fast Food named McDonald in Japan. The days there were so long, and boring. I did not have enough money to have an appropriate apartment, so I lived in a small room with strange neighbours. Clients were rarely nice to the employee like me, and we did not receive tips too. I was in a dead-end job, and I accepted it. Later a night, I went to a combini for something to ate, and I took a lottery ticket. The morning, I learned that I won the lottery, and I could have my dream life.

Made a Revolution.

I made a plan with other artists that were on my side the whole time, and we made public announcement to begin a revolution. First, we planned our logo that we would be used, and also our slogan. Faster than we expect, we became famous for our action in the city, and people made me their chief. When we had succeeded to completely stop the corruption in arts, we could conquer the whole industry.

Started my Own Company.

I was definitely tired of big city, and I decided to return in my country, Canada. I wanted a peaceful place to start my company for selling my arts. In the end, I decided I will be based in the north to saw aurora borealis, and this was my muse for painting. In my later years, I finished with a penguin in my house, and we became best friends.

Decided to leave of Absence.

Everyone was sad when I made my announcement. It was a hard decision to make, but you started working at distance on a computer in your house. I became isolated, and to counter this I adopt a little puppy. I passed my free time with her, Koko, and it was the best thing that could happen.

I tired of this place, bu you had to wait to gain al the credits of your work. You chose to live in the residence Soleil in Sherbrooke because you saw good review. My children came see me once week, and we made occasionally cookies the whole family.

I took his job, and I gain a good salary that I will set aside to travel a lot all around the word. My new position is a concept artist senior. I lived good life, and I had a big family.

You did not take his place, and you stay a simple concept artist. You retire at sixty years old like everyone else in this industry.

Became an Environment Designer.

I realized when I was looking at what other members of my team was doing, that I went to be an environment designer. After many, days, I created my portfolio, and I asked my superior if I could change. She accepted, and I learned how to do narrative environment. I finished working at eighty years old, and I still loved my works.

Became Supervisor.

I became a top-tier supervisor in this industry. I was strict to my employee, and that made everyone fears me. I made a good amount of money while doing my job. When I quit, I decided to live in Iceland.

I decided to quit his job, and to begin your life as a retiree. I remained in Japan, but I left the city to stay in the mountain. One day after I moved, a big tsunami happen, but I was safe up there.

This was the only thing I remembered after the crash. Right now, I am on an island in the middle of nowhere. I hopped someone will see my message of help in the sand...
