The usual hallway emptied, we cried, and we said goodbye. Two paths, that you studied over and over stretched in front of me. They both led to a different version of yourself. You liked everything and sometimes liking everything could be a burden. Who will you become? Social Sciences offered the chance to explore people, society and ideas, understanding the world through human behavior. You loved genuine conversations, lively debates and imagining the one and a million ways to say something. On the other hand, Natural Sciences promised interesting experiments, complex formulas and discoveries, figuring out how the universe works from atoms to ecosystems. It called to the part of you that liked to uncover that what seems complex at first.

It’s in Montreal, a bit farther from your home in Laval, meaning a bit more travel each day and adjusting to a busier city. Excellence comes at a small cost! Getting in requires strong grades and dedication. Would you risk not getting in? 2. Cégep Montmorency; It's close to home, familiar streets and your friends are nearby. Its science program is pretty solid but not the most prestigious, but much easier to get into, making it a reliable choice if you prefer a smoother path! Do you choose the safer path?

Different theories contradict each other. You feel like you are missing something fundamental. How does the brain actually work? How do emotions appear? You become more interested in the scientific side behind these questions. This curiosity pushes you toward Natural Science. You are eager to find out.

You decide to step outside the classroom. It feels suffocating. You volunteer, help organize community events, tutor kids. You feel useful. Maybe, you should have gone into Natural Science. The idea feels refreshing. Maybe failure showed you what you truly wanted. The next step feels natural.
