After finishing high school, I wanted some changes in my life in order to break the routine. I made a choice, either to take a year off or apply to college. I was looking forward to take a new step and to gain experience and knowledge.

The Montmorency College was my first option on the list because of its proximity to my home but above all it offers a program that not a lot of college offers. Indeed, the Physical Therapy technique at Montmorency College is known to be a renowned and in-demand program, so my purpose is to enter this program.

I have always had the taste for adventure, that's the main reason of my desire to take a year off. I want to explore and put aside my five years of high school. I don't have a plan for this year off, but I'm sure that I won't regret making this choice.

One of my main goals in life are to travel the world as much as I can. I've always been curious and this curiosity makes me want to expand my horizons, learn about cultures, meet new people, discover new countries and landscapes. In short, I want to experience and travel the world we are living in in-depth. I would be really proud of that fulfillment.

Like I said previously, one of my goals in life are to travel the world to gain experiences and memories. Volunteering abroad has always been something I want to try once in my life. This would help me grow so much as a person, add a meaningful touch to my travels, and it's a good alternative for leaving a dead end job.

My taste for adventures always push me to surpass myself, that's the reason of my desire for backpacking trips. The fact that I can explore and go wherever I want to and having the possibility to make my own plans is something that makes me want to experience this one day.

One the destination that intrigues me a lot is Austria because of its beautiful landscapes, its history and the people living there seem amiable, that makes me want to volunteer there. There's a variety of jobs offered across the country that seems really interesting.

The second country that interest me for volunteering abroad is Portugal because it touches the Atlantic Ocean and I have always loved scuba diving and there's plenty of job offers for volunteers that involves working on a boat and having to dive, and I would be very interested to try this.

Europe is probably the most visited and most popular destination among travelers, so I have to visit it one day. In addition to wanting to visit this continent filled with and diverse landscapes, I am fortunate to have family living in different European countries, which motivates me to travel there.

There's so many places around the world that I want to visit and South America is one of them. Especially because it's so close to us, North America, but it has nothing to do with our landscapes and lifestyle. That makes me want to discover this continent one day.

Travelling around the globe is part of my dreams, but it requires money. That's why I need a job that will help me realise this project.

I already have some experience in the restaurant industry because of my previous jobs so be a waitress should not be difficult for me. Furthermore, I already did the on-the-job-training, so I think it would be a good student job that would allow me to earn some money before starting any project or school.

On the other hand, I thought of working as a receptionist in a physical therapy cabinet because it would help me visualize myself in this career and would create contacts that could help me have a foot in the door in my future career path.

I spent a long time thinking about what I wanted to do in life, and I think that I finally found or at least I found which career field I want to pursue. Physical therapy is a field of study that interests me a lot and that piques my curiosity. Furthermore, the technique includes internships which allows me to test drive the job.

When I finish my studies in physical therapy at college I wish to continue my studies at university. The University of Montreal offers a program that interests me. Furthermore, studying there would allow me to stay close to my home, which is a great advantage.

On the other hand, another place that offers the same program is the University of Sherbrooke. It's known to be a very good university and studying there would take me out of my comfort zone because of the distance to my home. However, I have family in that area, so it would still be a great option for me.

When I finish university I hope that I will become a physical therapist and that I would succeed in what I desire to undertake. I can imagine myself working as a physical therapist in the future, so it's a good sign.

There's another job that intrigues me and that stays in the same field of work as physical therapy. A kinesiologist is close to physical therapy, and it's a job that I would be curious to try. The advantage is that my physical therapy studies are compatible with those of kinesiology.

A project that has always touched my heart is to go on a humanitarian trip. I have always considered myself lucky and grateful for the life I have, and I would like to be able to bring even just a little joy to people who need it.
