The end of high school.

High school was really hard. You even though of giving up a lot of times, but you decided to push through. You have now obtained your secondary diplomat. You don't know which College you should apply to. Should you applied to Montmorency or Ahuntsic?

It's only a fifteen-minute drive from your house. You got to your classes on time, made a lot of friends, but still made sure to study really hard. You ended up graduating with straight A's on your fourth semester. You are ready to start Unversity. Should you go to university straight away or take a gap year and put aside school?

Take a gap year.

Taking a gap year was the way to go. You spent time with your family and friends. Traveled the world and met new people. Also, you made sure to relax and not have any stress related to school. Now, you feel refreshed and ready to start University. Which University should you go to?

Choice 1 : Go to the University of Montreal (UDM).

Choice 2 : Go to the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM).

Go to university straight away.

You had too many classes and barely some time to rest. You ended up failing two classes and started developing anxiety. Should you consult with a therapist to get better or continue your studies, hope for the best and obtain your bachelor degree in psychology?

You decide to consult and your therapist suggest for you to remove some of your classes. You should take some time to rest. You ended up getting your Bachelor degree with amazing grades. Six years later, you got your Master and Doctoral degree. You are now ready to work as a psychologist.

You had a lot of on the job training in your field of study throughout the year. After 9 years of hard work, you are finally ready to be a psychologist. You decided to go see your boss and ask if you schedule could be less full, but he denied your request. That you will eventually get used to it. It has now been a year, and you are absolutely drained. The work got even harder, and you are starting to lose your passion for psychology. Your family is starting to worry about you. You had this coworker named Bob who wouldn't stop harassing you. At first, he was really sweet, but then he started to get out of control with his flirtation. He would always ask you out on a date, and you would always decline. One day, you had enough and decide to go see HR. They ended up painting me as the perpetrator because Bob was the nephew of the owner of the clinic. Which led to a lot of corruption and nepotism. Bob also started to boss you around and give you more cases after finding out you went to HR. Bob definitely didn't respect any office politics. You decide to quit and ended up going to the public sector.

You tried really hard to keep up with all of your patients, but it was way too hard. The stress and the sleep deprivation was too much. You ended up having a burned out in front of one of your coworkers, and your boss decided to let you go for good. You are now jobless. Try again.

Open your own clinic.

It was really hard, at first, knowing you just had a burned out at your previous job. So, you started slowly but surely. Your family and some of the friends you made along your years of studying and gap year came to help you built your dream clinic. Your clinic is now open to the public, and 5 moths ago you won the best psychologist's private clinic in your city. You have a lot of fellow psychologists to help you with patient cases, and as a boss you make sure everyone has at least a week of every month. You are now the happiest you have ever been.
