The end of high school.

All along high school I pulled off straight A's in my classes, so at the end of high school I had the choice to go to the program that I wanted at the CEGEP that I wanted. I chose to go to the science program to go to medical school at the university and become a doctor. The science program is offered in almost every CEGEP, but the three nearest to my house are Montmorency College, Bois-de-Boulogne College, and Ahuntsic College, so I had to choose between the three of them. Which one should I choose?

Choice 1 : Choose Montmorency College.

Choice 2 : Choose Bois-de-Boulogne College.

Choice 3 : Choose Ahuntsic College.

I chose Montmorency College, I had a lot of fun during my program because all of my friends were here, so I went out with them during our breaks and had a lot of fun during classes as well. I also managed to get the score that I needed to enter medical school. So now, I have the choice to go to the United States of America or to stay in Canada and go to the University of Montreal.

Choice 1 : Go to the United States of America.

Choose Bois-de-Boulogne College.

I chose Bois-de-Boulogne College, even if I didn't know any people there, I managed to make a lot of new friends and to not feel alienated. I had a lot of good grades, because the college environment allowed me to, and I got a high R score that allowed me to apply to medical school. Thanks to my R score, I can now go to McGill University or Laval University.

Choose Ahuntsic College.

I chose Ahuntsic College. There were a lot of parties there, so I put aside school because of bad time management. I didn't get the chance to study, and I got a lot of really bad grades. I didn't get accepted in any program at university, so my parents kicked me out of the house. After searching for a long time, I didn't find a job, so I died of cold in the winter.

Go to the United States of America.

I chose to discover a new country, so I decided to go to medical school in the United States of America. I really liked the country, and all my medical school program went well. After finishing my medical studies, I had to choose where to complete my residency to become a doctor. I had the choice between going to a very competitive hospital where I could get kicked out at any moment for any little mistake, or going to a hospital that is less competitive but where I had a lot more chances to finish my residency without being kicked out.

Go to the University of Montreal.

I chose to stay in Canada and go to the University of Montreal. My medical studies went very well, and I quickly developed an interest in internal medicine. I completed several clinical rotations at CHUM, where I learned to manage conditions like heart failure, pneumonia, and chronic kidney disease. The environment was supportive, and I felt that I was learning a lot. After finishing medical school, I had to choose where to begin my career. I had two options, either volunteer abroad to gain international experience, and help people who are in need, or accept a position in a strange hospital that is not very popular but would allow me to get a foot-in-the-door job for my future career.

I chose to go to McGill University, and everything went well. I made friends, enjoyed my classes, and excelled in my studies. During my second year, I met an entrepreneur who offered me a job at his health tech company, promising very good opportunities and the chance to build something new. I faced a tough choice: leave medical school to join the company or continue my studies and become a doctor.

Go to Laval University.

I chose to go to Laval University, and everything went very well. I enjoyed my classes and did very well in my studies. One weekend, I heard about a huge party being organized by some students. Should I go to the party and have fun with everyone, or stay at home and focus on my studies?

Go to the competitive university.

I decided to go to the competitive university. All the students there were filled with ambition, aiming to be the best doctors in the world. I soon joined a research team studying early manifestations of cardiovascular disease. I had a lot of work and felt pressure every day of my life, but in the end my team's research discovered a lot of early symptoms of cardiovascular disease, which helped a lot of patients avoid this type of disease by adopting a healthy lifestyle and good habits when they knew that they were at risk. With these discoveries, I was able to get an interview in a very prestigious hospital but with a lot of pressure, or go to a good hospital which is not very prestigious but has way less pressure.

Go to the less competitive university.

I decided to go to the less competitive hospital for my residency. The atmosphere was calmer, and I developed strong clinical skills in primary care and internal medicine. After finishing my training, I moved to a small town and worked as a family doctor. I treated common conditions like hypertension, diabetes, and other common problems, and built strong relationships with my patients. My life was peaceful, stable, and meaningful, far from all the pressure of big prestigious hospitals.

I decided to accept the residency at the prestigious hospital. The environment was extremely competitive, and every mistake felt like it could cost my career. I worked long hours in cardiology and internal medicine, constantly handling complex cases and high-risk patients. Despite the pressure, I built a very strong reputation for my diagnostic skills and research background. Over the years, I became a very famous cardiovascular doctor, giving conferences and contributing to major publications. The job was stressful, but I lived a life of ambition, and constant challenge.

I chose the less competitive hospital for my residency and developed an interest in neurology. After my training, I moved to a small town and became the local neurologist. I treated conditions like migraines, epilepsy, and other neurological diseases, focusing on caring for a few patients. My life was calm, stable, and meaningful. I didn't have a lot of pressure and lived a very happy life with purpose and a feeling of fulfillment.

I chose to volunteer abroad, and I ended up loving it. I treated patients with dead-end situations in isolated areas and realized that humanitarian work gave me a sense of purpose I couldn't find anywhere else. One mission led to another, and I spent the rest of my life doing medical humanitarian work around the world. For the new doctors, if I were you, I would try at least one mission, you have nothing to lose from it and a lot to gain.

Go to the strange hospital.

I chose the strange hospital to get a foot-in-the-door job. At first, everything was good. The workload was not very big, my coworkers were friendly, and I was learning a lot even if I didn't have a premium wage. One day, a patient discreetly offered me a bribe to give him a medication that he didn't need. I realized that I had to decide: either accept the bribe and risk my job and reputation, or refuse it and protect my career and reputation.

I chose to accept the bribe. The patient gave me a big amount of money, much more than I expected. With this sudden wealth, I realized that I no longer needed to work as a doctor. I left my job and spent the rest of my life enjoying the money from the bribe. I traveled, dined at luxurious restaurants and lived a life of luxury.

I chose to refuse the bribe. I stayed professional and told the patient that I couldn't give him a drug he didn't need. He became very angry, and over the next few days, he confronted me outside the hospital. Things escalated quickly, and before I could do anything, he attacked me and killed me.

I decided to leave medical school and join the entrepreneur at his health tech company. At first, adapting was challenging, but I quickly learned the skills for the business. Together, we developed innovative devices that gained attention worldwide. The company grew rapidly, and I found success beyond what I had imagined. Even though I left medicine, I built a career that was fulfilling and impactful.

I decided to continue my studies at McGill University, focusing on becoming a doctor. During this time, the entrepreneur I had met earlier gave me a great idea for a health tech company. I was excited to launch my own company while finishing my medical degree. I faced a new choice, should I focus only on my studies, or risk starting my own company while still in school?

I decided to risk starting my own health tech company while continuing my studies. At the beginning, I was full of energy, but soon everything became too hard to handle. The company failed due to poor planning and lack of experience, and I struggled with my studies because I had no time. I got kicked out of school and ended up working at McDonald's.

I decided to focus on my studies and put the idea of starting a company aside. I worked hard and got my medical degree. After graduation, I had much more time, experience and support for the project, so I started the company at this moment. With the knowledge I had gained from school and the lessons I learned earlier, the company grew quickly and became successful. I was able to combine my medical expertise with the field of entrepreneurship, building a career that was impactful both for me and for others.

I decided to go to the party and have fun with everyone. The atmosphere was great, and I met many new people. Among them was a doctor who worked at a well-known hospital.
