Apply to college.

After the best five years of my life as a theater kid in high school, I have to leave it behind and try to build a career on my own. I realized that I don't really want to become an actor, so I will try to be Someone who works in the industry. After a lot of research on different programs, I landed on the theater production program that the Professional School of Theater gives at the Lionel-Groulx College. The thing that bothers me is that I don't know if I have what it takes to get in. Will I be accepted or rejected?

I am now onto my first year in the program. It's very fun to learn but, I have a hard time managing my time with my general classes, and my specific classes. I also got in the Improvisation club which will take time on my Wednesday nights and some of my weekends. I feel like I will have lots of homework and not much time to do them. Am I able to manage all of this, or will I manage it poorly?

As I thought, I didn't have what it takes to be in the stage production program. I am really disappointed about the Situation, but I have a second plan. Both of my grandparents were cooks, and I've always look up to them, so I will try to apply to a DEP in confectionery.

My first year went well, I was able to do all of my homework, be to every Improvisation practice and matches, and succeed all of my classes. Even if everything went great for me, my parents think that I still have too much time on my hands, do I look for a job for the summer?

I failed all of my classes, I was so bad in my specific classes that I had to take a rendez-vous to see my program counselor. Once I got there he told me that I had two choices: I could take a year off to only do general classes or get kicked out of the program. What do I do?

Choice 1 : I take a year off.

Choice 2 : slap him.

Choice 3 : Spit in his face.

I got accepted into the DEP.

I tried my best to succeed, but I am a 100 % better at eating candy than making them. My hands a covered in bruises and burns from the materials we used. I am not made for this.

I get rejected from the DEP.

It seems like no one wants me to succeed. I want to feel better about myself, so I applied for a job at McDonald's.

I was so stressed by the pressure that I had that day that, while I was running to open the drive-through window, I slipped on an oil puddIe that was on the floor. I hit the back of my head and didn't get up.

I take a year off.

During my year off, I did my General Classes online while I was traveling around the world. Two years later, I finished all of my classes and decided to stay in Ireland because I had a job offer in a small theater. After all, I got what I wanted.

The mood of the room changes. Suddenly, everything explodes and M. Liblanc throws me into the air. He flies back to me to throw a punch, but I block him. We engage into a heroic fight.

It happened so fast, I didn't think about it. I felt so ashamed that I got out of the room and went home to cry myself to sleep. The next day, I received an Email from the college, I got kicked out.

I do get a job.

I am able to find a job quickly at Footlocker at the Rosemère mall which is Very close to the college. Everything is great, the employees are nice, the hours are flexible, and I can work while I am a student. This is perfect for me. Now that summer has ended, I have to go back to college. As I thought, me having a job does not affect my studies, I am still able to submit my homework in the due dates, study, pass my exams, and practice my hobby.

My parents are mad at me now, I am not surprised by this reaction. Life goes on though. I still pass all of my classes, study, pass my exams, and practice my hobby.

This year, I have to pick a position for the up coming play. After all the projects that we had assigned for each position, I narrow it down to two. I could be a stage manager, or I could be an Iighting technician. Which one should I choose?

Choice 1 : Stage manager.

I nailed that position during the entire process of the play, and I discovered that I do very well under pressure. During the next year, I was able to take other position, but I haven't succeeded as much as being a stage manager. At the end of that same year, I was already graduating, and I did graduate! After that, I decided to reach out to a youth theater. I stayed there for live years, I did a Iot of different jobs from my field. Surprisingly, a bigger theater, way bigger, reached out to me. I could work for them and eventually be a director there.

Lighting technician.

I did great for the integrity of the process of the play, but it seemed like I forgot something. I scanned the room slowly, I heard a Ioud crack. One of the ropes who make sure that the structure where the lights are on doesn't fall from 20 ft. But, it did, and it dropped right on my head. I got crushed.
