Working or University?

I just finished my DEC in Electrical Engineering at Ahuntsic College, and now, I do not know whether I should continue at University or go working in the field as an electrician.

Choice 1 : Working as an electrician.

It has been 3 years now that I am working as an electrician. My life has been miserable, I don't like it here. Even tho, I am making a lot of money, I want more knowledge, so I can work in a more technical field. Should I stay for the money and always doing overtime or continue my studies.

Like the majority of people I decided to continue my studies at university by doing a baccalaureate in electrical engineering. The first year was intense because of all the coding, calculus, and circuits. I struggled at first, but eventually found my rhythm. In the end, I had to decide which field to specialize in.

I think that money is really important, and I am scared of not finding a new job if I leave this one. I decided to stay for the money but a big accident happened during work, and I'm now paralyzed for life.

I chose to focus on robotics and automation by building robots that can do many complex tasks and even maybe think on their own. I spent long nights building and programming those robots. One day my professor invited me to join a research project developing a robotic assistant that can help nurses.

I decided to chase power system because I find it way more interesting and fascinating. I went this way not just to learn how to manage grids, but how to rethink them entirely. Having straight A's I find my way to the third-year. I even presented a wild idea. My idea was cursory, but I said it anyway: what if we could capture and store the energy from lightning.

I fully dedicated myself to the project, but with the drawback of completely sacrificing my social life. At least now nurses receive more help because of me. My teacher even gave me a bribe for doing this project, and I have a feeling of fulfillment.

The team was intrigued, but cautious adding these types of capabilities would be complex and risky, but the results are worth it. Fortunately for me, they accepted it, and when I finished working on this project, it was a success, and I got world-renowned for my invention.

I decided to pace myself, working on the project steadily while keeping up with my courses and friends. I had to do good time management because it was not easy between deadline project and social event. I still develop a reliable sensor system, and I helped with the troubleshoot navigation issues. It was slow, but I still ended up doing it.

While studying lightning thoroughly, a big accident happened. I tried to catch a lightning strike but due to my miscalculation the strike hit me, and in a flash, I ceased to exist.

During the test I successfully captured the lightning discharge and stabilized it in the containment unit. Later this in my lab I infuse the discharge in my DNA and I became the lightning man.
