A new beginning for me.

Hi, my name is Amina. I finished high school in 2019, during COVID-19. I didn't know where to apply, what job to do and didn't have any guidance. I decided to start by picking a school where to study. Should I choose Ahuntsic College or Rosemont College?

It' one of the most diverse schools in the area. They have multiple programmes. They also have special classes to help teens have their high school diploma (motivation jeunesse). It motivates teens by making them love going to school in different ways.

Being a social worker means to help others in need. They can be from different backgrounds. All of these options are good, but which to choose from?

Working at the CLSC is a great reward. I get to work with immigrants, families in difficult situations and many more. Every day I get to work with new people. I just help a mother and her kid get back together.

There are so many homeless shelters in Montreal, but so little help. I try my best every day to help as many people that I can.

Being a registered nurse means doing everything. Unfortunately it requires me to do overtime every day. I am mentally exhausted. I don't think I will do this job for a long time.
