I got accepted in arts at Marie-Victorin College! I got to learn all about art, and I got to develop my skills. It took me only 2 years, and I got my diploma! I loved this program so much, I got straight A's in all of my classes. Now I can either work in Italy or stay in Montreal and open an art studio.

Completing the program in 3 years was rough and really demanding, but I made it! I had good time management and did all my HomeWork. It was hard to put aside all distractions to concentrate, but I made it. I made a lot of friends and incredible memories. Now, I can either work in Montreal or work in Quebec.

I started to work at Tim Hortons to make as much money as I can. As soon as I started my on-the-job training, I knew I hated the job. My boss told me I was a great employee, but I still quit.

Travel.

Travelling has always been a dream of mine. I don't have a lot of money, so I chose to volunteer in Portugal. I made a lot of friends, and I got the feeling that I really made a difference. I wasn't making money, but it was still better than a dead-end-job where I would've been paid minimum wage. After a year of volunteering abroad, I can now go back to school and either apply to Ahuntsic College in Paramedic Care or apply to Marie-Victorin College in arts.

Now that I started working for an Art company in Italy, I realized that I really preferred working in Montreal. I miss my family and my friends. I got a job in a little cafe close to my house. It's only been 2 weeks since I finished my OJT and I love it! Even when I was still a trainee, my colleagues were very kind to me and treated me as if I've been here for a whole year. I also make a lot of money working here! Now, I can either work here full-time and drop my program or keep my position as a part-time employee and stay in my program.

I got a part-time job at a coat check at Studio Td for the Winter only. This job gives me a lot of advantages like discounts on shows, restaurants, hotels, etc. I even make a lot of tips. I love it here! The only disadvantage is that the coat check is only open from October to April so during the summer I don't make any money. I can either keep it like this or I can get another job.

Work as a medical dispatcher.

I got a job as a medical dispatcher for "Urgences-Sante". I now answer 911 calls and help people in need. I really feel like I'm making a difference. Working there, I am exposed to a lot of different situations. From toe pain to cardiac arrest and more, I have to handle the situation either I like it or not. One day, I got a call where a woman called 911 because her husband was impaled in a fence. This call traumatized me, and I got to take a leave of absence.

The first week after the opening of my art studio was perfect. Lots of people came by, and I made some money. But after a couple of weeks, people stopped coming by, and I started to lose money. I had to find a vacant position for another job to have some more money and finished by closing the place. People don't seem to like art anymore.

When I applied to be a Paramedic in Montreal at Urgences-sante, the human resources contacted me to do an interview. I thought that the interview went really bad, but I was surprised to see that the human resources contacted me to hire me. I was thrilled! I worked there for 40 years and retired to spend the rest of my life traveling.

After moving to Quebec City and getting hired as a Paramedic full-time, I made a lot of new acquaintances and realized I wanted a side hustle. I love to paint and draw, so I opened a tattoo shop with a friend, and we started to make tattoos together. This project allowed us to earn more money and be more economically secured. I continued doing this until I was old enough to retire.

I dropped the program and started to work full-time at the cafe. I love the other employees, but I don't earn enough money to make a living out of it. I became poor.

Keeping my position as a half-time employee gave me the chance to stay in school, and get straight A's. I had the chance to study a lot and earn some pocket money at the same time. I got to finish my program with my mind at peace, and I now have to chose if I want to work in Montreal or work in Quebec.

Because I only work during cold seasons, I got to travel a lot after school during the summer. I made a lot of memories and got to meet my current girlfriend. This job gave me the opportunity to relax and take care of myself during the summer. I got to finish my program with my mind at ease at work where I've always wanted because I was the best in my class.
