I was seventeen years old, and I was just graduating from my high school. I really wanted to introduce the college I applied in, which was the Ahuntsic College, to study in business management. There, I wanted to learn the ropes so that I could reach my goal. My goal was to have straight A's in all of my classes, so that I could be able to introduce a good company. I also had another secret goal. I've always dreamed to meet my soulmate in college and lived my ever after with him.

I was so happy, I have been accepted at Ahuntisc College! As I was going to class, I've met a pretty boy/girl. His/Her name was Maxim(e) and, as I was flirting with him/her, he/she proposed that I skipped my class to have some fun with him/her and his/her friends. The friends I've met understood my situation, but Maxim(e) was looking at me with deception in his eyes. Even if he was looking at me like a sad puppy, I couldn't put aside my grades during the first semester. I still needed straight A's if I wanted to reach my goal. I've also met a new friend in my class. Her name is Mia, and she's a really shy girl with not that many friends. We were learning about B2B and cash flow. I've had a lot of fun with my new friend, and Maxim(e), the pretty boy/girl I was flirting with, seems to really liked me because he proposed that I skipped my other class as well to go to a party with him/her. I decided to go with Maxim(e) and his/her friends, and we went to a party. I was having a great time at the party. The music was lively, and the laughter of my friends filled the room. I was flirting with Maxim(e), enjoying the playful banter, and I couldn’t help but smile. But then, something shifted. Maxim(e), started making suggestive comments. At first, I laughed it off, thinking it was just harmless flirtation, but it quickly escalated. His/her words became more inappropriate, and I began to feel uncomfortable. I could sense the dread building inside me as I realized this was no longer flirting. It was harassment. I tried to deter him/her, but the perpetrator was persistent. After I went home, I developed school phobia because Maxim(e) and I were sharing the same school, and I stopped going to school You may start again.

Even if I was a shy person, I raised my hand and asked my question. I was so proud of myself and realized that it wasn't difficult to raise your hand, you just needed to be courageous. I finally understood what an account was. It was like a record of money moving in and out. The teacher explained how an accountant uses bookkeeping to track finances. We also talked about bankruptcy, which happens when someone can’t pay their debts. I was surprised to learn what a bond was. It was like lending money to a company or government. We even created a budget together in groups and discussed how businesses try to break even. It was challenging, but I felt like a future entrepreneur learning the ropes. My grades were great, but I wasn't taking any break for socialization. I was walking home, when Maxim(e), the pretty and popular boy/girl I was flirting with in the beginning of the semester, talked to me. As we were talking, Mia interrupted our conversation, saying that she really had to talk with me. I decided to ignore my friend Mia and stay with Maxim(e). As we were talking, I saw that Mia haven't left and was waiting for us to finish our conversation. She really seemed worried, but I didn't know why. I was lost in my mind, when Maxim(e)'s voice came up to me. He/She was asking me if, since I've missed the last party to go in class, I wanted to join the party he was making. His party was Saturday and we were Friday. It was my last chance to ask Mia what she had to say before the party. Should I stay with Maxim(e) and go to the party without talking to Mia at first, or go talk to her?

I decided to listen at what my friend Mia had to say. I gave an excuse to leave Maxim(e) and went to see Mia. When she saw me, she waited for Maxim(e) to completely leave so that he couldn't hear us before talking. She explained to me that Maxim(e) was in fact popular, but he was also known to be a predator who's harassing people at his parties. She told me that, more often than not, it happened that he had to do volunteering task to make up for his bad behavior. I didn't know if I she was telling me that because she was worried about me, or because she was jealous of me being invited by the cutest boy/girl in school. What should I do? I don't want to get sucked up in party that included harassment, but I don't want to miss my chance to go at a really nice party.

I decided to stay at home for the weekend. I was looking at the ceiling of my room, wondering if I should study for my exams or take a brake and invite Mia to go in a coffee with me. She even knew a cool coffee place where we could enjoy a nice coffee in peace. While we were taking our coffee, I realized that I had forgotten what short vacations of studies looked like. My mind was calm, and I spent the weekend smiling. After this break, I was wondering is it was really important to study that hard to have straight A's. Should I spent less time studying, or keep studying like I do it right now?

I've studied the whole weekend for my exams and got straight A's in all of them, but my mind being exhausted, I got overwhelmed by the stress and the exhaustion. I ended up in a burn out and fails my classes. You may start again.

I didn't give up my studies, but I realized that my time management was very bad organized. Putting all my time in studies and not much in break, it was obvious that I would've started a burn out if I was continuing like this. A teacher saw me struggling with my agenda and came at my desk. He gently proposed to me his help with time management. Should I accept the teachers offers or decline it and make my own time management?

I decided to put aside my homework and started to have bad time management. My straight A's become C and D because of my laziness, and I failed a lot of exams the last month. I let the teacher helped me, and I developed a better time management with his help. I started pulled off straight A's again and stopped put aside my homework to feel like on vacation. My time management had some flaws, but it was still a better time management than my first one. It was working for a while, but during the end of the semester, I regretted not accepting the teacher's help. I was forgetting things and my planing wasn't balanced enough. I started doing only homework and forgetting to see my friends. I become overwhelmed by my homework and failed some exams. Furthermore, I was exhausted and tired and started to put aside my homework. I tough about it and I had two choice. Should I continue accept to have the bare minimum, or should I got ask some help to a teacher.

I've put aside my homework in the worst time possible and failed a lot of exams. With those exams, I failed a lot of classes and ended up up being kicked out of College Ahuntsic. It was frustrating, because I was almost finishing my semester with only good grades. You may start again.

I accepted to have the bare minimum. My goal was to have straight A's in all of my classes, so that I could be able to introduce a good company. Since I didn't reach them, I felt deception and couldn't introduce the company I wanted to introduce. You may start again.

I've kept putting efforts in my homework and my classes, and ended up finishing my semester with straight A's in all of my courses. I've learned a lot about business management, and joined a successful B2B company. After I finished my business studies, I applied to several companies. I saw an advertisement for a well-known firm, and I quickly sent my business proposal and business plan. A week later, I received an appointment for an interview. During the meeting, I spoke about my skills in bookkeeping, budget planning, and cash flow management. I explained how I had used bench marking during my internship to improve financial performance. The manager was impressed, and I got the job. In my first week, I worked closely with an accountant and learned how to manage accounts, prepare invoices, and calculate deductions. I also attended meetings about marketing, investment, and consumer trends.By the end of the month, I received my first salary, and I finally felt part of the company. Starting my career in such a great business was truly rewarding. During this parkour, I've realized that reaching your goal aren't easy, and you can't always reach all the goals you were fixed. But asking question, don't give up and don't let yourself being influenced by bad people will really help me to reach them.
