It was the end of high school. I wasn't sure on what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I had an idea about the field but wasn't sure. So, two choices were available to me.

Choice 1 : Apply to Ahuntsic College and study.

Choice 2 : Take a gap year from college and work.

Apply to Ahuntsic College and study.

I decided to go to Ahuntsic College and keep studying, I got straight A's in high school because of my good time management skills, so I had many programs to choose from. I was still unsure on what I wanted to do, but two choices stood out.

Choice 1 : Computer Science and Mathematics.

Choice 2 : Civil Engineering Technology.

Take a gap year from college and work.

I decided to take a gap year from college to explore my options more and think thoroughly about a clear path and a purpose for myself while working. I wanted to have some time to think, so I needed a relaxed job where I would't feel overwhelmed. Two choices were available to me.

Choice 1 : Work with my dad in construction.

Choice 2 : Work at McDonald's.

There was a vacant position at my dad's work, and after they performed a background check on me they hired me thank to my dad without having to do a job interview or complete a OJT. They assumed I already knew most of the ins-and-outs of this job.

Choice 1 : The end.

Work at McDonald's.

After working at McDonald's for a year I knew what I wanted to do and also set aside some money for the future tuition fees I will have to pay. I wanted to become an architect. The program I had to do for this work was only given in three colleges near me.

Choice 1 : Old Montreal College.

Choice 2 : Saint-Laurent college.

Choice 3 : Montmorency college.

I was getting paid good money and the work wasn't the worst. I hadn't reached my purpose in life or found it but at least I wasn't in a dead-end job. So, I decided to stay in this job and stop studying.

Old Montreal College.

I had no friends in that school. I spent most of my time studying and had incredible time management skill. Because of that, I managed to pull of straight A's on all of my courses throughout my DEC and completed it in three years. I had the choice to keep studying and go to university or start working for Montreal city as an architect.

Choice 1 : Go to university.

Choice 2 : Start working.

Saint-Laurent College.

This option was my favorite because I had many friends from high school that were going to this college too. The problem with this is that I spent more time chatting with them rather than study for my exams. So, I barely managed to pass my exams and finished my DEC in 4 years rather than 3 as I should've. But at the end I completed it, and now I had to find a work. There was a vacant position to work for Montreal city as an architect, and I received an invitation for a job interview.

Montmorency College.

Out of all three choices this one was the furthest and because of that I spent too much time in public transport and didn't have good time management skills. So, because of that my grades decreased, and I failed most of my courses. I decided to spot studying after this and ended up in a factory living the daily drudgery of this dead-end job.

I accepted the invitation and went to the job interview. After the HR performed a background check on me they found out about my grades and told me that to be hired I had to have better grades or more experience in that field. So, I didn't get the job and ended up taking a vacant position at my dad's work in construction. I wasn't happy because I felt like I wasted 4 years of my life studying for nothing. I ended up getting overwhelmed by the drive of work and got a minimal pension.

I understood that I didn't want to work for a company or someone. I wanted to be the leader. So, I started my own architect company and hired many trainees that I would teach invaluable in depth skills and all the ins-and-outs of this job. My company was a success and got rich. I didn't have to work anymore, but I loved the drive of work and kept working even though I finished paying my mortgage and had enough money to pension me and my family.

Go to university.

I was a straight A's student so most universities would've accepted me. I had to option in mind.

Choice 2 : UQAM.

After the HR performed a background check on me and found out about my amazing grades they hired me instantly without having to complete any OJT. They assumed that I didn't need to learn all the ins-and-outs of this job because I was already good enough. My coworkers found out about this and tried to undermine me saying false things about my work to my boss. It was maddening seeing them do such a thing, but I had the choice.

Choice 1 : Fall into office politics.

Choice 2 : Prove my boss wrong.

I got sucked up in and started gossiping about them to other coworkers. I withheld important information that they needed to finish a project and ended up messing it. My boss got told that I was the one that withheld the information. He didn't let me explain the situation and fired me. I ended up working at Walmart for the rest of my life and got the worst pension I could've got.

Prove my boss wrong.

They kept hindering my ability to do my job by creating false rumors about me. One day my boss trusted me with a huge project and saw the opportunity to prove my value. I put aside all distractions and did my work thoroughly. He saw the results of my work and notice that it was not as my coworkers said and was impressed by my work. So, I got a premium wage because of my work and even got promoted to project manager sometime after and never got to see those coworkers anymore. With a better salary I was able to retire earlier and got a good enough pension to live the rest of my life, but I still had to pay off my mortgage.

McGill University.

I chose the more prestigious school of the two. It was a lot of pressure being there. But with great time managing and because I put aside all distractions I managed to pass all of my courses and get my bachelors degree. I got the opportunity to chose where I wanted to work. It was a difficult decision.

Choice 1 : New York City.

Choice 2 : Dubaï.

UQAM.

Most of the students that went to Old Montreal College went to UQAM, so I already knew many people. At first, it was easy to keep up with my good grades, but it quickly got difficult I got overwhelmed by exams and burned out. My friends noticed that and asked me if I wanted to go party with them. The problem was that I had an exam the next day. I didn't know what to tell them.

Choice 2 : Stay to study.

I needed to stress out and go party. It was amazing but the next day I had to do my exam I did it and failed the exam. The problem is that I needed to pass to get my bachelor degree, but I failed it and ended up stop school because I felt like a failure. I was still able to use the DEC that I completed at Old Montreal College and got a work at a company as an architect, but I knew I could've been a project manager if I finished my bachelors. I still got a good pension and retired at 65 years old, but I still had to pay off my mortgage.

Stay to study.

I stayed to study even though I burned out but my mentality was ingrained I had to pass this exam if I wanted that perfect life.

I passed the exam! I was able to pull of the best grade of my class and got many opportunities of work. With my bachelors degree I was able to be a project manager for any company I wanted but two were more interesting than the others.

I chose to work for Montreal City as a project manager. I designed many parks and building but nothing crazy. I felt the drudgery of my work coming to an end. I had a family and kids but the drive of work was too much. I had to retire earlier. I could not keep doing this. I made and set aside enough money to have a good pension to take care of my family and pay off my mortgage.

I chose to work for Six Flags. It was so fun because I was able to fly all over to world to design the new amusement parks. Even though it was well-paid I was always alone and couldn't start any relation ship with a girl. I retired at an early age and with a lot of money. I wasn't happy but at least I didn't, had to stress about paying off my mortgage.

With the good reputation I had in University I managed to pull of a job opportunity to work for New York City. They wanted to change the whole city slowly. After 40 years of working we finished this huge project, and it was my time to retire. I had accomplished my purpose in life, had a family and money. So, I retired and got the best pension I could've gotten.

Dubaï.

With the good grades I had I got a job opportunity for a project in Dubaï. They wanted as a project manager for one of the biggest projects of history it was called The Line. I had to design a whole city in the shape of a line. I spent all my life doing that I was passionate about the drive of work that I didn't have time to socialize. I lived the rest of my life alone but with money. I retired as soon as the project was finished and spent the rest of my days at the beach.

Computer Science and Mathematics.

The sudden emergence and popularization of AI got me interested into Computer science, so I choose this field. I discovered a whole new world and found a new passion. Even though it can be difficult thank to my good time management and passion about it, I easily got straight A's. During the final days of my last session to celebrate my friends asked me if I wanted to go party. Even though I knew I had an exam to study for I was still wondering if I should go.

Civil Engineering Technology.

My dad worked in construction and told be about the Civil Engineers at his work. He told me that they made good money, so I chose this field. I was a straight A's student so during an exam one of my friends asked me for answers. It was our final exam and though I had good grades if I failed this exam I wouldn't pass the course, and I needed that course to graduate.

Go party.

I thoroughly listened and worked during the year so one little party wouldn't affect my grades. I was right I passed my exam with a B which was good enough to keep my high grades and graduate. It was time to choose a university. I had many options but to become a Software Engineer two choices were available to me.

Choice 1 : Polytechnic of Montreal.

Choice 2 : UQAM.

I decided to study for my exam and don't go party. My friends got mad because I was obsessed with school and stopped talking to me. It was so maddening seeing my friends do this, so I acted like I didn't care. I passed my exam with a A+ as usual, so I graduated with the best grades in my class. It was time to choose a university. I had many options because of my good grades but to become a Software Engineer two choices were available to me.

I was so confident because I was a straight A's student and because of this I started doing cursory work and my grades dropped. It was maddening seeing my grades drop because I worked for it. So, I put aside all distractions and managed to pull of good grades again and successfully graduated. After all the years of studying I was finally ready for a new beginning. There was a vacant position at Apple for a Web Developper. But I was still wondering if I should go to the job interview.

Choice 1 : Go to the job interview.

I chose this option because I knew many people from there. They told me how difficult the field I chose was, so I listened them and put aside all distractions to keep my good grades. They were right it was hard, but I still managed to pass and even pull of some A's. One of my friends from my field of study told me about an internship in Tokyo. He told me that employers preferred to hire people with experience such as internships. I had good grades, but I was still unsure about doing the internship.

Choice 1 : Complete the internship.

Choice 2 : Start working.

Go to the job interview.

I went to the job interview and after the HR performed a background check on me they saw that I didn't have any experience for the job. They didn't care about the grades they wanted someone with experience. I looked on the internet for internships and found a fun one in Tokyo.

Look for another job opportunity.

After looking for a job I understood that did not want to work for apple. I wanted to be the leader after all these years of studying and listening to others. So, I started my own company of Web security. I hired many people I met during my years of studying because I knew they were good. Because of that I did less on-the-job-training and had only a few trainees that learned all the ins-and-outs of this job from the people I hired before. My company was a success and I became rich. I didn't have to move a finger anymore, so I retired early and had a good enough pension to travel all over the world.

Complete the internship.

I decided to complete the internship, and it was the best decision I made in my life. The goal of the internship was to teach us how to develop a website and secure it. After doing many projects and learning the ropes of this job I finished my time as an intern and comeback to Canada ready for my future job.

Start working.

I decided to ignore my friend's suggestion and tried to find a job. I went to many job interviews and got rejected from all of them because I didn't have any experience. My friend was right and after a whole year looking for a job I decided to work at McDonald's because I was tired of always getting rejected. I became a McDonald's manager after 15 years of work and retired at 65 with a pension that would only allow me to survive.

The internship came in handy because it gave me a foot in the door for this job and gave me invaluable in-depth experience. It was also so useful being able to test drive this job because I was sure about my purpose in life. After getting hired I worked there for the rest of my career as a Web Developper. I retired early and got an amazing pension to stress-out and pay out my mortgage.

We got caught cheating so the teacher gave us an F. It was so maddening seeing all of my efforts wasted. I failed the exam and didn't graduate. I ended up finding a job at my dad's work in construction. It was a dead-end job and spent 45 years working there. The job was so physical so after retiring I had to move around in a wheelchair and got a good enough pension to live the rest of my life, but I still had my mortgage to pay.

I knew it was my friend, but I had priorities. I did the right thing because another student got caught cheating and didn't graduate because of that. I kept my high grades and graduated after 3 years of studying. There was a vacant position for a Civil Engineer at my dads work. I did the job interview and got hired without having to complete any OJT. They thought that with my amazing grades and because my dad already worked for them I already knew all the ins-and-outs of this job. One day my boss came talk to me about the project we were working on. He offered me a bribe and even a premium wage if I changed some numbers, so he could save money.

It was my boss, so I did it. I changed the numbers and got everything that my boss told me. Sometime after I got arrested by the police. I told them that it wasn't my idea and my boss was the one that did the theft. They obviously listened to my boss rather than me and got sentenced 3 years of prison.

I refused the offer because I knew it was a big theft. My boss offered the same things to one of my coworkers, and he accepted it. He got arrested and during the lawsuit I testified and said that my boss was the one that had planned all of this. My coworker still got 6 months of prison but my boss got 3 years. I got promoted as the new supervisor and got a premium wage for keeping the integrity of the organization clean.

I had completed my sentence, but It was impossible to find a job. I ended up working at Tim Hortons for the rest of my life at the minimum wage and retired at 70 years old. I got the worst pension I could've ever gotten and lived the rest of my life stressed.
