Introduction.

The final bell rang, a sound I, Sarah, have been waiting for since I started the last year of high school. This meant I finally finished high school. After graduating and walking out with the diploma in my hand, I walked with excitement for a new chapter of my life that was going to start: College. This new chapter of my life would lead my whole future, so it made me feel uneasy, stressed, nervous and excited all at once. I was deciding which college I would choose . I had to options. Those options were either Montmorency College or Rosemont College.

Choice 1 : Montmorency College

Choice 2 : Rosemont College

Rosemont College.

I chose Rosemont College instead of Montmorency since they offered the program I wanted to enter in, while Montmorency did not offer this program even if unfortunately all of my friends attended this college. This meant I would have to make new friends too. The program I wanted to go in is Pharmacy Technics. When I arrived there, everything was new to me. The people, the school even the neighborhood.I had to readdapt myself to everything from the start which is very frustrating. After two sessions, i was getting used to my new school and felt very happy with the new friends I made in the last two semesters. My program was quite easy to me and everything went well. Studying wasn’t a big deal to me and I enjoyed the feeling of the future success in life. But, it was the time for a new chapter of my life again.It was time for an internship! They aren’t fun since it’s like working for free, without getting paid But I had to do it for my future. So, I had two choices where I could work for. I had to choose between doing an internship at Pfizer or doing an internship at AstraZeneca.

Choice 1 : Pfizer

Choice 2 : AstraZeneca

Pfizer.

Pfizer is a huge company, that could be the future of healthcare, this is why I chose working with them. I did my internship there as a technical pharmacist. It was stressful at first because it was my first big girl job. Everyone was older than me. I felt like a real adult for once. It was a very serious space so I didn’t make many friends but everyone was friendly and nice to me. I would talk to a few people but I mostly stayed serious to keep doing my work. Unfortunately, this internship led to something really disturbing. It led to a case of sexual harassment. It all started when I met this guy at work. He was very kind at first and would always help me out with everything. I didn’t think much of it at first since I thought he was just being kind. After some time, the man would start getting too comfortable with me. He would do some actions like playing with my hair, holding my waist touching my face. But one time, he did too much. He slapped my posterior then blamed it on being high. It made me so mad I slapped him in the face. He then came to explain himself and to apologize too. I never spoke to him after that.
