After two years of hard work, many sleepless nights, and work due before 11:59 p.m., I have finally graduated from Ahuntsic College with a Social Sciences diploma in discovery profile. Is it time to be happy? No. This is only the beginning of my problems because now I have to choose what to do with my life, especially with this diploma. I want to succeed, but I don't know what to study. What should I do if I want to be able to pay bills in the future? Should I continue my studies in marketing or save the world by going into sociology?

I have been accepted for a bachelor’s degree in marketing. The courses are interesting, I learned a lot about advertising and marketing strategy. But being a good student takes so much effort. There is always work to be done, and I struggle to find time to party. I don’t know if I am going to be able to finish this diploma. My new friend Derek has offered to make the task a little easier. But one day, I finally decided to take control of myself and put aside all distractions. I learned time management and worked hard. My perseverance paid off, I pulled off straight A's in most of my classes. Now I'm graduating with my bachelor in marketing.

My application was accepted. I have finally been able to start my paid on-the-job training. It's a chance to get a foot in the door with such a big brand. I'm learning the ropes, and that will come in handy in my career. Just as all the interns, I am overwhelmed with work. The superiors leave all the stains to us, plus the wage is very minimal. At least I can bring home some cheese! Should I continue with this training?

Although initially skeptical, volunteering in Kenya is a choice I have not regretted. It brought me a lot of benefits, firstly because it counts as an experience that I can put on my CV. My main objective was to help the populations who needed it. I was able to be in contact with the local communities and provide food and necessities. I loved it. I now think that I am on the path to success.
