I am so excited! I am going to college next year! I know I want to become a nurse, but I don't know which college to choose. I live twenty minutes away from Thetford College but a lot of nursing thought that St. Lawrence college is the best to study Nursing. I think that studying in Thetford could be easier for me. At St. Lawrence college, I could improve my English and make new friends, but it will be harder because English is my second language.
Choice 1 : Apply to Thetford College.
Choice 2 : Apply to St. Lawrence College.

I think that I made the right choice applying to Thetford College! For now, I really like this program, but it is harder than I thought. I am learning the ropes, and I know that I will need to study a lot more than I used to. My friend, Léa, is also studying here, so we can meet for lunch sometimes. I feel a little lonely because I am always studying by myself. Léa just texted me! She wants to know if I am eating with her for lunch. I want to see her, but I also need to study for an exam that I have tomorrow.
Choice 1 : Lunch with Léa.
Choice 2 : Study for the exam.
It was really nice yesterday! Léa and I talked about anything, and it made me feel a lot better mentally. However, today I feel overwhelmed by all of the pages that I have to study. I am stressing so much. I don't think that I am going to do well on this exam. Unless, I write the answers on my ankle, even though that is not the best thing to do when you want to do well at school.
Choice 1 : I do the exam with my knowledge.
Choice 2 : I write the answers of the exam on my ankle.
Yes! I am so happy! I didn't know that I was going to do great on that exam. I will not study at the last minute anymore because it creates way too much stress for me. My boss at work called me earlier, and he told me that I am not working enough hours. Teachers at school advise that we shouldn't work more than 8 hours per week. I already work 12 hours per week and I fin it hard. I don't know if I should quit concentrating into school work or, if I could fight for my job doing fewer hours than the company wants me to. I am a good employee, and I like working there. I also need money for my expenses. In my opinion, office politics shouldn't be the same for employees who have restrictions, like students.
Choice 1 : Quit my job.
Choice 2 : Fight for my job.
It is done, I resigned! I can't believe that they didn't do the leg work to try to keep me! They would've let me have a leave of absence I wouldn't be badly taken. I still need to pay for my car, my gas, my driver's license, my parking, and I have no wage! This situation is really stressing me out. There is less than $300 in my account! I could ask the band for a mortgage or my parents for a little help. The thing is that they aren't rich either.
Choice 1 : Ask my parents for a little help.
Choice 2 : Ask the bank for a mortgage.
I couldn't get the money, so I can't pay for my session. I can't continue right now. I will have to try when I have money.
Choice 1 : Choose a College.
I think that I made the right decision applying to St. Lawrence College. Even though learning medical terms in my second language is hard, I think that I am going to make it. The bad thing is that I have no friends. I don't know how to approach people that I don't know. I should give it a try! I could ask the girl who sits next to me in biology class if she wants to have lunch with me! Or I could send a message to my friend Léa from High Schoo if he wants to hang out. She is a party girl, so maybe we will drink, and have fun. That would be good for my mind. My exam is only at 2 p.p. tomorrow anyway, and I am ready.
Choice 1 : Ask the girl in my biology class to have lunch with me.
Choice 2 : Text Mathilde to party between friends tonight.
I am really happy because I have a new friend! Her name is Mathilde, and she introduced me to some of her friends. It feels good to have people to talk to. I was starting to feel alone. Next thing Mathilde and I need to do the choice of our internship location. If we choose the same one, chances are that we are going to be in the same group. I think that it could be great, but I also want to stay focused on school.
Choice 1 : Select a different location than Mathilde's.
Choice 2 : Choose the same location as Mathilde's.
Seventh-day in my internship. I am panicking right now. I forgot to give a Tylenol to my patient, and it's been an hour since he should've received the dose. I know that if I make a medication error and compromise the security of the patient, because not giving a pill prescribed I breach of security, I fail the internship. I am very scared right administrated it and my teacher will never know.
Choice 1 : Tell the truth.
Choice 2 : Give the Tylenol and say nothing.
I told my teacher about my error. Surprisingly, he asked me what should I do, and I answered that I could give the patient his Tylenok because it is once a day and that I will assess his pain. He congratulated me for saying the truth and for knowing how to act when something likes this happens. This was the best mistake that I could do because I have learned a lot from it! I have to remember this error and take it seriously and everything will be fine!
Choice 1 : Take it seriously.
Choice 2 : Don't take it seriously.
Time passed so fast! Here I am in the sixth session with straight A's. My college courses are coming to and end. It is time to go straight to work full-time or go to university working part-time. This decision will have an impact on the rest of my life!
Choice 1 : Go straight to work full-time.
Choice 2 : Go to the university.
After three years of trying and never giving up, I am proud to be a Registered Nurse!
Choice 1 : Choose a College.
I studied a lot this past three months. My lowest score of this sessions is 81%, which suits me. My efforts have been worth it! Next session, I will have ten courses if I follow my academic progress. I don't know if I should take summer classes or divide the semester. Most of the people did the Nursing program in four years, maybe I should do that too.
Choice 1 : Do winter and summer classes.
Choice 2 : Divide my session in two.
What I thought would be great was not so much. I attended the winter hike class and something terrible happened. I was running up the hill for fun when I accidentally slip off on an ice plate and tumble all the way down. My leg hit a tree and it broke. Now, I am not able to do my internships anymore. I will have to start over!
Choice 1 : Choose a College.
I felt a lot more relaxed in my second semester. I still worked hard, but I guess that it would've been worse if I had divided my session. In my next semester, I will do my first internship in Nursing! I have to choose between two departments : pulmonary or general medicine.
Choice 1 : Pulmonary.
Choice 2 : General medicine.
I am really excited! It is my first day in pulmonary! I don't know much about this department, but I can't wait to learn everything! It is already time to go home! Second day! I don't feel so well this morning. I have a dominant pain chest, cough, and I am very tired. I am calling off this morning. I need to see a doctor! No! I have pneumonia! I didn't wear the yellow isolation jacket when I was in my patient's room. If I knew, I would still be an intern.
Choice 1 : Choose a College.
I am in neonatal. It is a lot to learn, but I love it. I am giving everything I have left to graduate from university. More often than not, babied pass through their trial and return home in a good condition. Unfortunately, sometimes, babies don't make it, and it is very hard to pass trough a decease with the parents.
Choice 1 : I need a break.
Choice 2 : Let's finish this!
I am so proud of what I accomplished, but I need to put aside my work and studies. It is too much right now, and I am overwhelmed by everything. I hope that in a couple of months, I will be able to continue.
Choice 1 : Choose a College.
It is 3 p.m.! I don't know what happened last night. I must have drunk too much. It is over! I will have a zero in my exam. I will never be a nurse!
Choice 1 : Choose a College.
My test went really well. My plan worked! Well, I think so. The teacher wants to see me in his office, and he doesn't look happy. He tells me that one of my classmates saw me cheating on the exam. There are still no proofs. He asks me if it is true. What should I tell him?
Choice 1 : Tell him that I cheat.
Choice 2 : Tell him that I didn't cheat.
The teacher discovered that I cheated. I am out of the program! Misconducts are not allowed in Nursing. This was the worst mistake I have ever done!
Choice 1 : Choose a College.
I failed all of my exams because I didn't have the time to study. I am really sad!
Choice 1 : Choose a College.
Mathilde and I are learning a lot, and we love it! I like the relation that I have with patients and the atmosphere in the department. It is time to give the p.m. medication! The teacher is back to us, and I see Mathilde taking a drug and sliding it in her pocket. I can't believe it! What am I supposed to do with this? She's my best friend since last semester!
Choice 1 : Denounce Mathilde.
Choice 2 : Don't tell anyone and have a talk with Mathilde.
''I am telling you the truth professor!'' These were my last words when I was in Nursing. I told my teacher that Mathilde took a drug from the pharmacy. When he asked her if it were true, she said that it been me! The teacher searched our pockets and the pill was in my pocket. I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is the end of my dream to become a nurse.
Choice 1 : Choose a College.
I asked Mathilde why she did this. She answered me that it been none of my businesses and that if I say anything, she will tell the teacher I did it. Without any hesitation, I went to the teacher and told him everything. Unfortunately, Mathilde had planned everything. The drug was in my pocket. I got expelled from the Nursing program.
Choice 1 : Choose a College.
My teacher discovered that I gave the Tylenol without him knowing it. I am out of the program!
Choice 1 : Choose a College.
