Graduating in Police Technology at Ahuntsic College.

After I graduate from Ahuntsic College, I have to choose between going to the National Police School of Quebec and receive a 15-week training program to become a police officer, or taking some time for me and travelling and discovering new country, what should I do?

Choice 1 : Go to the National Police School of Quebec.

After all of my weeks of training, I will need to choose in witch department of police I would want to work at, I can work at two specific places, witch one should I pick?

After graduating from Ahuntsic College, I decided to take some time off and go to discover the world, with my budget, I have two choices of destination, where will I go?

Choice 1 : Go to Italy.

Choice 2 : Go to France.

Work for the SPVM.

I choose the SPVM because it's one the biggest city in terms of population, they have a lot of team you can part of and also, they have a good salary, and they have some option to do some on-the-job-training to learn more about the position, but for now, I need to choose in witch station I will work, witch one will I choose?

Choice 1 : At the Station 20.

Choice 2 : At the Station 27.

Work for the SQ.

I choose to work for the SQ, because they are the biggest institution of the police in all the Quebec. They also the best institution with the best pension found because they got a raise not so long ago, so I will have a premium wage compared to Montreal. They offer me two cities to go work at, but they are a little bit far, so witch one should I choose?

Choice 1 : Mont-Laurier.

Choice 2 : Rouyn-Noranda.

Go to Italy.

When I arrive in Italy, I found a pretty good restaurant where I can eat, but I don't know what to take on the menu, what should I take the pasta or the pizza?

Go to France.

When I arrived in France, I first got to my hotel room, after it was time to visit, what will I do first, visit the Eiffel tower or go see the Champs Elysées?

On my first day of work at the station 20, my police coworker gave me the chance to make a good first impression in front of the judge, they told me to make a testimony to make so criminal go in prison, did I do it, or I am to afraid?

At the Station 27.

I am very happy to work for the station 27 because it's the Ahuntsic city district, it reminds me when I was going to school at the Ahuntsic College. When I patrol this sector, I found a weird looking guy running with something that seem like a gun in his hand, did I run after him or did I let him go?

Mont-Laurier.

When I arrived at the Mont-Laurier police station, the HR described me all of my advantages with them at Mont-Laurier, they were so many advantages like dental assurance, life assurance, they gave me a car, etc. The team also welcomed me with they arm all opened, they were very friendly and nice to me. Will I spend all the rest of my career at this city or will I go somewhere else?

Choice 1 : Stay at the Mont-Laurier Police Station.

Choice 2 : Leaving Mont-Laurier and Work for Another City.

Rouyn-Noranda.

When I arrived at Rouyn-Noranda, I found myself some patrol on the motorway where I see a police car with the letter K-9 on the side of it. After my shift, I figured that it was the k-9 unit specialized in the police dog, and I knew that I wanted to be in that team more than everybody, would I apply for this job or no?

Choice 1 : Apply for K-9 Units.

Choice 2 : Don’t Apply for the K-9 Units.

Pasta.

I choose the pasta at the restaurant, they were very good. After my meal, started to walk down the street and a mysterious woman invited me to come with her, will I accept or no?

Pizza.

I started my fancy weekend in France with a big pizza. It was so good that I asked the waiter to give my compliment to the chef. When I arrived in the kitchen, the chef was so happy that I liked his pizza that he offer to make my own personal pizza with the topping that I want, so I accepted. After, I was walking down the street from the restaurant where I encounter an itinerant, he was very polite and very respectful, he asked me if I can give him a piece of my pizza, I said yes with no hesitation, and I also sat down with him to talk. I learn that when he was younger, he used to get straight A's in all of his exams and he was put aside for this reason. It was maddening to do such things to a human. I was thoughtful of him, and I proposed to him if he wanted to come with me for the night at the hotel, will he accept?

Eiffel Tower.

I decided to go see the Eiffel because since I was a kid, I always wanted to see it with my own eyes. It was very beautiful and enormous. But as I was walking away from the tower, I heard somebody in the distance screaming at me, it was seemed to be a man, will I go talk to him?

Choice 2 : Walk Past Him Like I Didn’t Hear Him.

The Champs Elysées.

I finally arrived at the Champs Elysées, it was so big and imposing. But it was also very beautiful. Unfortunately, it took me 20 minutes to realise that I was completely lost and that I didn't know how to return to the hotel because my phone had died, will I try to remember the way to go at the hotel myself, or trying to ask a stranger for direction?

Choice 1 : Try Myself to Go back at the Hotel.

Choice 2 : Ask a Stranger the Direction to Go back at My Hotel.

Make a Testimony.

Some days later, I found myself in a good-looking suit in front of the judge and the prosecutor, they asked me 1 simple question, and it was to describe my intervention and what lead to the arrest. I explained everything and told every little detail I can remember. After my testimony, they took a break of 2 hours, it was so long, but after that, the verdict was that the criminal was convicted of every charge he was accused. I was very happy and my coworkers were proud of me. After that, I was proposed to stay at the station 20, or change of station to discover new things.

I Am to Afraid.

I was too afraid to make the testimony, so I didn't do it. I missed my chance to make my proof in front of everybody as a recruit, right now I need to keep in mind that everybody count on me, and I have to prove them that I cam here to work as hard as I can, I still have a long way to go. I stay at the station 20 to make my proof.

Run After Him.

I choose to run after, and fortunately I catch to him and when I arrested him, I found a gun, 2 bags of coke and some illegal money, it was a big crime. I also found that he was a researched criminal. When I called my sergeant, he felicitated me and told how I did good that day. After that, he proposed that I enrolled for becoming the general of a special team specialized in the gun and drug district.

Let Him Go.

I decided that the criminal was too fast and athletic for me to catch up, so after 2 min of chase, I decided to let him go and call for backup and explained the situation. As I returned to the station, my boss called me and told me that it was unacceptable that I let him go, he also said that I didn't do my job correctly. I was not happy about that but when I tried to explain myself, he told me that it was not necessary and that my service were not required anymore. That's how I found myself fired from my police station.

I decided that it would be better for me to stay at the Mont-Laurier police station because I have a good team mentality with my coworker's, and also they are the best, so it was the best decision. I also have to make a lot of patrol and a lot of interaction with the population, and I loved it.

After leaving Mont-Laurier, I send my resume to the Prevost police station and a week after they accepted my resume, and I was working for them. At this station, I encounter some of the best friend I have ever met in my life and the police officers at this place are the best.

Be the General of the New Special Team.

With my new teams, we have done a lot of intervention where we were able to recover at least 4 million dollars in guns and drugs, we received an honorable mention from the Premier Minister because of our action of bravery. I also installed some station in the city where people can return gun to money no question asked to try and reduce the use of guns, it's started to work, and I am happy that I make a lot of change in that city.

I applied to the k-9 units and honestly, it was the best decision of my life because de k-9 unit in the Sûreté du Quebec is the best in my opinion. My dog is named Rex, and he is a German Shepered.

I decided to stay as a patrol officer, it's very cool, but I feel something is missing in my work, I hope I will do some effort to climb the ladder in my police career.

I decided to go with the woman, and I learned that she was perfectly Italian, she started talking about her family, her friends and even her cats. She also told me that she found me attractive, that's why she has come talk to me. I asked if she wanted to go grab a drink with me, will she accept or no?

I politely declined the request of the woman, because right now I am in a foreign country, and I don't know about the people there, for me they are strangers, and I feel not comfortable to follow a random woman in another country. So, she continued her route and I continued mine. After my trip, I was thinking about what could've happened if I had accepted her offer.

She accepts to grab a drink with me, I learn more about her, and I found out that she was living in Italy since she was a baby, we talked about the life and our goal, she was very nice. After that, we passed the rest of the trip together, and after, when it was finished she came home with me in Canada were we lived happy for the rest of our life.

She declined my offer to grab a drink, and I respect that, so I continued my trip in Italy, and it was the best trip of my life.

After thinking about it for a long time, I decided that it would be better to leave the station 20 and go see some new thing, I have to make my proof at some others place to become the best police officer, I am sad to leave my friend but happy, because it's a new start.

Me and him really became close friends, I invite him to stay with for the rest of my trip, and he was happy about that. We have so many things in common. I asked him if he wanted to come in Canada with me, where he can get a good job, house, and some friend! I also told him that I will help him a lot with that. Will he accept my offer?

The men introduce himself as "Adrien", he was super nice and polite. He told me that he screamed after because I seemed to be a tourist and that he was a tour guide, and if I wanted, I would be able to book one with him right now. Did I book a tour or not?

I decided that it would be better for me to walk past him because all of the scam I have been told about. I finished my days by walking in the city, and returning to the hotel for supper. Two day's later, my trip was finished, and I came home with a beautiful image of the Eiffel Tower.

Book a Tour.

I decided to book a tour with "Adrien" and it was fabulous, he showed me every little detail of Paris, and I loved it, he was literally an expert of the place. The monuments were beautiful and everything was perfect. I paid him, and I thanked him for his service. 2 day's later, I returned to Canada with a lot of souvenirs in my mind for my trip.

Declined the Tour.

I decided to decline the tour because I didn't know him, and it didn't felt safe, but "Adrien" was comprehensive, and he told me that he was happy to have met me. My trip was already finish 2 days later, and I was coming back to Canada. It was literally the best trip of my life.

Try Myself to Go back at the Hotel.

I decided that I would be able to return to the hotel myself, but I was wrong, because the more and more I tried, I realized that the hotel was nowhere near the place I was., I couldn't even describe where I was because it was far away from the Champs Elizées. For 2 days, I walk every day I couldn't find my damn hotel, finally with all my pride, I gave up and finally ask a stranger the direction, he helped me very well, and I returned to my hotel the same day.

I asked a stranger for directions to my hotel. At first, he was really shady, which didn't give me confidence, he was dressed funny in clothes that from what I could see, hadn't been washed for days. I finally followed the directions he gave me on a map, but when I arrived it was everything except a hotel, there were people on the ground with drugs, people who looked like criminals and homeless people. I finally understood after 5 minutes that it was a shooting gallery and that the person who gave me these coordinates was himself a drug addict. I quickly turned back and managed by myself with my memory to return to the hotel, there was no way I was going to ask someone for coordinates again.
