It all started like this.

I just finished high school. I know that I don’t like going to school, but I need a future for myself. I was always into law! After talking with my aunt, she gave me options. I am now stuck thinking of what I should do. Should I do Paralegal Technology, so I can work with this degree after college, do Social Science in college and then study law at university or simply stop school and find a job.

Choice 1 : I decided to go to college.

I decided to go to college! I am starting my application, but I am still stuck between two choices. Paralegal Technology or Social Science? I am thinking hard... If I do Social Science, I save one year of my life but, If I don’t go to university my degree is useless. If I do a Paralegal Technology, it will take me three years to get my degree, but I can secure any paralegal job afterwards, and I also have the option to continue at university later.

School is not for me. I believe that I can become rich without a degree, so I won’t be pursuing my studies. I think my high school diploma is enough to bring me somewhere good in life. My dream is to either create a small business or to volunteer around the world.

I decided to do a Paralegal technology.

I just completed my Paralegal Technology. These were the 3 best years of my life! Law gave me a headache, but it was worth it. I graduate in two weeks, and I’m stuck with two choices. Do I start my career as a paralegal, or do I go to university to study law? I did my internship at a law firm, and I already learned the ropes. However, I already have a foot in the door in terms of my law knowledge, so it would be in advantage in university.

Choice 1 : I decided to study law at university.

I decided to study Social Science.

I finally finished my 2 years of Social Science with straight A's, and I got accepted in law at my dream school! Harvard! I am finally leaving Montreal to pursue my dream. This will be an invaluable experience.

I am not passionate about any jobs I have done. They all are dead-end jobs, so I am stuck living with my mom for the rest of my life. Also, nobody called or emailed me back for volunteering.

I decided to create a business. My business is pulling off and because of time management, I have time to travel the world! I now have no fixed address because I live all around the world depending on your schedule. I do not regret going to school because I still think school is useless. I have learned all the different laws and studied all the case laws in all the countries you visited!

I decided to continue law school at Harvard! It was really hard. I had to work 2 jobs to be able to afford this university. I also had to starve because I didn't have enough money to buy food and some night I would not sleep because I did not have the time to. However, these were the only drawbacks and everything was worth it. I have now graduated, and I have to make a choice. Will I become a lawyer or a notary? Do I want a chaotic life or a peaceful life?

Choice 1 : I want to be a lawyer.

Choice 2 : I want to be a notary.

I decided to start my career as a paralegal.

I have a beautiful career as a paralegal with a great salary at a good workplace! However, all of my colleagues are telling me to go and be a lawyer. When I think about it, even though I have great benefits and a good salary as a paralegal, there is ins-and-out about being a paralegal. There is a vacant position for a lawyer that will come in handy when I finish law school.

I have been practicing for over ten years now. I have been dealing with mostly family, common law, criminal and civil cases. I love my job and I love helping people! Today, I got proposed to be a judge!

I want to be a notary.

I become a notary at a calm and peaceful cabinet, and I stay there till my retirement. The day after my retirement, I get sued because I wrote the wrong name on the divorce paper and now the defendant has lost the family house.

I go back to school to be a lawyer.

I decided to still keep my paralegal job on the side while I study to become a lawyer because I can't afford to not work. I have a friend that told me that she could find a job for me that would take less of my time.

I am starting to hate being a paralegal. I am everyone's slave. I need compensatory damages since I am so exhausted. I lost my drive of work. Thank God, I have a relationship with my boss. He divorced his wife to have a relationship with me. Soon, I will be able to quit this job where I feel powerless. I will finally be able to be a housewife! No need to set aside money for pension, mortgage, and retirement. He will take care of me.

Choice 2 : I respect myself, decline my boss flirtation, and keep my job.

Say yes to being a judge.

I said yes to being a judge! However, I got fired after one week. They said I wasn’t impartial, and that I was being too nice instead of focusing on only the law and the facts. Now, I am jobless.

Say no to being a judge.

Instead of being a judge, I decided to open my own law firm. I got denied at the bank for a loan, but it did not stop me from getting the money I needed to open your cabinet. My cabinet has been successful since it opened.

I keep my job as a paralegal while studying.

My life is miserable. All I do all day is staying at my office, do legal research, draft documents, create contracts, read judgments and doctrine and prepare trials. However, the wage is good here.

I take the job my friend offered me.

The job she offered me was at a bar. I had to bribe people, so they would give me money. It is a toxic environment with a lot of thefts, threats and sexual harassment. A client tried to have sex with me, but I declined. He tried killing me but an employee came in handy and saved me. The client was arrested for misconduct and attempted murder. My friend gave me a compensation for this tough moment I went through. Sadly, at the end of the night, I died of a drug overdose.

I quit my job to be a housewife.

I was so happy to be a housewife watching Netflix all day and taking care of my boss's kids. However, it didn't last long. My ex-boss found another girl to replace me with, and now I am homeless, jobless and broke. I end up moving in a shelter.

I decided to confront my boss and tell him to stop flirting with me and that I wanted nothing to do with him other than professionally. He did not take it well and talked to HR. They fired me, and they filed a complaint about me for harassing my boss.

Even though Harvard was my dream school, I didn't have enough money to pay the tuition. I settled for a university in Montreal, and it is okay. Not as good as Harvard, but it does the job. After my degree, I worked for legal aid. I stayed there till my retirement.

I am broke, so I dropped out of school and started selling drugs. I got arrested, and they sent me back to Canada. My family did not want me, so they sent me to a rehab center.
