What to do after college?

College will be over in two weeks! Now I have to decide which path to choose to get to my goal of becoming a movie director.

Choice 1 : Go to Concordia.

Choice 2 : Go and study abroad - France.

Choice 3 : Go and study abroad - USA.

Choice 4 : Take a semester off and work on my own movie projects.

I was one of the few students who got accepted in the Film Production program in Concordia! I start my first semester and my classes are amazing. I get to meet every one and I get an invitation for my first party!

You decide to leave Canada and go study in a film school in Paris. You get there a few weeks before the beginning of the semester and try to find a job.

You arrive in California and find a small apartement rented with five other people. You decide to get a job before your saving runs low.

I decide to take a semester off to work on a personal project and build my own portfolio. I start by writing a script, then I find some people who are ready to work with me in exchange for a really low salary. I decide to go to the party and make myself some contacts, I make a few good friends and also meet a French guy who is studying here for only one semester. We fall in love, but he returns in his country in a few months, should I follow him?

I decide to stay in Montreal, I spend most of my time with the french guy but don't neglect my other relashionship and build strong friendship with a few people. University ends and now I need to decide what to do.

I decide to get a job in a restaurant, I start working in a fancy place as a hostess and work a lot of hours to be able to pay my rent. I finally get a promotion and become a waitress. After a year, trying to keep my life balanced with school, projects and the job, my boss offers me the job as a full-time manager. Should I accept it?

I decide to refuse the promotion because I want to stay focused on my main goal to become a movie director, and I know it will drive me away from it. The semester ends, now I need to decide what to do.

I decide to work on TV sets since it's a safer job than the other two choices. I start my career as an assistant on the sets; I serve coffee and make sure no one needs help. My past job in the fancy restaurant really helps me to keep my confidence even when everything is going wrong with the team. I make a career out of it and slowly become more and more important in the indusrty!

I decide to get a job on a movie set, the more and more I work with teams, I start to realize all the pressure it is for movie director to keep everyone together and decide that I no longer want to do this job. I work a lot with the cameras on movie sets and gain a lot of notoriety as a cameraman. I make a career out of this.

I get a small job on as an assistant on a movie set while I continue studying in Movie Making. I gain a lot of experience from this job and it also helps me to get better grades in school! I finish my degree, now I need to decide what to do.

I decide to start doing short movies with my friends, during university we saved enough money to buy equipment and we all have a lot of stories idea. We are full of passion and ambition but we still need money to produce our movie. Where should we take it?
