We met for the first time on our first date, we asked each other a couple of questions. Overall we had a great night we went to a nice restaurant, and finished with a walk. We have been in each other DM for the past seven months, but unfortunately for us we don't live in the same city. I was so exited to see him at first, but more and more the date was approaching the less I wanted to go. My girls gave me good piece of advice, and then I was confident enough to go. I prepared a couple of question for him because I needed to know how if we should continue this relationship or not. I asked him what he wanted with me, was it just physical? Or did he wanted to go deeper than that.
Choice 1 : Physical, I'm not looking for anything serious.
Choice 2 : I'm looking for something serious.
On the walk in London. He told me he did not see how we could be anything serious because of the distance and our communication problem, which frankly was more on my part than is. At the beginning-we talked a lot over the phone and by text but more and more the time go by the less we talked. My first language is fresh, and him is English, I realize maybe to late that the language was an issue on the long term I got cold feet, and never talked about it I just took my distant but was still entertaining him. From then, I started to detach myself from him, so when he told me that I was released and felt more comfortable to be honest with him.
Choice 1 : I did it adequately.
Honestly when he told me that I got scared because I knew I gave him the impression that I wanted the same. I mean that's what I'm looking for in a man, but I'm not looking for a man. If I'm being real honest I kinda new that could've been the case, but I chose to be delusional. Because Tell me why a grown man would want a start a serious relationship over text. The fact that I was still entertaining him was wrong, but I liked him he's a lovely person. How was I supposed to tell him that I didn't want anything with him and still attend to the date.
Choice 1 : A sad happy ending.
I told him I didn't see us work either, so they were no point to move any further, and I appreciate getting to know him, and wish him the best in the future. He took it well we finished diner, and I guide him around the city for a while.

I did my best to spare is feeling just in case he cared that much, because my intention was not to hurt him. I apologize for my wrongs, and gracefully I was delicate he took it well, but we went our separate ways after the diner.
