I just graduated from one of the most prestigious high schools in Montreal. I have decided to become a Paramedic, but I am indecisive about which Cegep I should go to.

Choice 1 : Go to Ahuntsic College.

Choice 2 : Go to John Abbott College.

Joining Ahuntsic College was a great choice! However, French is not my main language I will definitely have to work harder than the others. The school's budget is in the favor of the Prehospital Emergency Care program I am glad I've chosen this school. The equipment is well-managed and up to date with the current ones real paramedics use and the teachers are very experienced and all have over 10 years of experience as paramedics.

Choice 2 : Being a Paramedic at CETAM.

Go to John Abbott College.

Joining John Abbott College was an amazing choice! The campus is beautiful over there compared to other schools in Montreal and its cities nearby. The only downside about this school is that it is very far from my home. However, the program is known for having great teachers who have been in advanced care units where they deal with patients in critical conditions.

Choice 1 : Becoming a Medical Technician in the army.

Choice 2 : Go to Urgence-Sante as a Paramedic

Being a Paramedic at Urgence-Sante.

You are now a Paramedic at the company. You excel at everything you do and receive a mention from the operation chief of your unit for being one of the best first years at Urgence-Sante. After a few months on the job, you are asked if you would like to stay in primary care units or go into specialized units. Which decision would you choose for the rest of your career?

Choice 1 : Stay in primary care.

Choice 2 : Join the tactical intervention group (MER).

You continue to excel as a paramedic and receive several mentions during your 35 year career and become a supervisor until the end.

After doing 2 years as a paramedic. You pass the selections to join the tactical intervention team for the company and assist in high risk calls with the police. After 20 years in the job, you receive the opportunity to give medical formations to specialized military units around the world with INTERPOL and do so till the rest of your career.

You were responding to a call about a suicidal man, he decided to stab you. You did not survive the injuries!

Choice 1 : Restart, try the other option

Becoming a Medical Technician in the army.

You've become a soldier in the Canadian Army as a Medical Technician. Your main task is being a combat medic. You assist combat professions in their group and intervene when one of the soldiers is injured. Your second tasks are to be at military clinics and provide and examine injuries. You are also tasked to medical examinations to civilians who applied to join the Canadian Armed Forces. During your second deployment, a wounded solider appeared, you decided to cover him until the rest of the team comes and neutralizes the enemy. Once you return home, you are rewarded a medal and a bonus for being injured in combat and rescuing a soldier. You decide to live a great life with your family by retiring after 22 years in the army.

You stayed a gray man yet a very skilled Paramedic in the company. You've always liked the adrenaline. However, you are not getting enough from responding to calls in your jurisdiction. Mainly elders with mild pain that needs to be transferred to the nearest hospital isn't what you need to do. What is your next move?

You decided to stay for the best. After 1 year of boredom, your skills are finally recognized by a stranger. The man is a veteran who served as a combat medic in the army. He tells you that you have the perfect profile for a combat medic in specialized forces in the army and that you should apply and try for them as you would have the perfect adrenaline and experience you're looking for.

Choice 1 : Stays at CETAM.

Choice 2 : Listens to the man and joins the army as a Combat Medic

Change to Police Technology.

You decided to apply in Police Technology and you were declined!

Choice 1 : Restart

Join the army as a Combat Medic (Medical Technician).

You've completed all the basic formations and went to more specialized training. After a year and a half, you were chosen to attend the selections for the special forces as a support combat medic. You've passed those and is part of the special operations as a combat medic. You live the life you've wished for and retire after completing 10 missions successfully and 20 years of service.

You stayed at CETAM 2 more years and insulted your supervisor because you've lost all interest in your work and got fired!
