I am currently studying Psychology at Ahuntsic College. This is my last semester, so I will graduate very soon. However, I lost a lot of motivation, I always procrastinate my homework and skip class. If I want to go to university, I need to take school seriously and pass all of my classes.
Choice 1 : Skip my Classes.
Choice 2 : I motivate myself.
I will not go to my classes today because I am tired. I would rather sleep or watch a show that I actually enjoy than listen to a teacher talking for 3 hours straight, it is really maddening, if I miss an assignment I will simply hand it later. It doesn't really matter because I know I will pass anyway.

If I want to get accepted in the program that I want, I will make sure I do all of my assignments thoughtfully and put aside any distractions. If I work cursorily and don’t provide all the necessary efforts, it’s impossible to pull off my semester. Even though it can be maddening, Time management is important to get straight A’s.

I got accepted in psychology in University! I am so happy, but before I become an actual psychologist, I found a student job at a coffee shop. They offered me an on the job training, to see if I could be on their team. I never had a job before, I am a little bit anxious I am not sure yet, if I am going to go.
Choice 1 : Unemployment.
Choice 2 : My first On the Job Training.
I decided to not go to the training. Maybe, I missed a good opportunity, but my anxiety was too high. I thought it would be better to focus on my studies, money will come later.
Choice 1 : Unemployment.
I went to the on the job training at the coffee shop, and it went way better than I expected! While I was a trainee, the employee showed me the ins-and-outs to interact with clients, so I can know how to greet them and how to serve them. The employee told me that it’s important to not have any bias towards customers because you must serve them all the same way, even if they are disrespectful. I also had to learn how use the computer and how to clean my workspace. During the training, I received a wage, but the only drawback is that I didn’t get any tips yet.
Choice 1 : My Internship offer (two years later).
It's been now a few years that went studying Psychology at university. I am in the last session of my baccalaureate, so I have to do an internship. An internship is like a foot in the door to become a psychologist. The thing is, if I do the internship, I will have to quit my job. I don't know what to do!
Choice 1 : I am staying a barista.
Choice 2 : My first Internship.
I decided to keep my job at the coffee shop because I like being a barista. Even though being a psychologist pays way better, I enjoy making coffee and, I don't mind doing this job for the rest of my life.

I decided to do the internship because psychology is my passion and I want to make it my future career. The first few days, I wasn’t overwhelmed at all because I only learned the ropes, which made the training less stressful, and I even had the chance to come in handy to help the other employees. During my internship, I felt like it was a test drive, to know if I enjoy the job enough to make it my profession. After a few weeks, I got more and more comfortable in the job and gained confidence.
Choice 1 : Graduation.
I graduated from university after my doctorate! I can finally pursue my dream become a psychologist. However, an opportunity to work with kids in Indonsesia as a volunteer was just offered to me! I have to make the choice to either go volunteering abroad or start to work as a psychologist.
Choice 1 : Volunteering abroad.
Choice 2 : My first day as a psychologist.
I spent five months in Indonesia to help young children with learning difficulties. At first, I was a little bit skeptical because I was scared to be in another country alone, but the multiples advantages of volunteering made me want to stay there for way longer. The only disadvantage was that I didn’t get paid whatsoever, but even though I was working without a premium wage, the experience itself was invaluable. The purpose of this experience is to learn, help and get out of my comfort zone, and I am sure that it’s way more enriching than any dead-end job.
Choice 1 : My first day as a psychologist.
I decided to not go volunteering abroad, so today is my first day as a psychologist. For now, I will work in a public organisation of psychologist working for the government. Before having clients, I learned about the office politics to maintain a good and positive environment at work. One of my coworkers told me that the employees tend to get sucked up in all kinds of drama. Sometimes, the coworkers undermine other people’s work in their back. If the employees were honest with each other and helped each other instead of withholding it to the person concerned, the environment would be way better.
Choice 1 : Harassment at work.
It's been now a few months that I am psychologist and, I get to work in schools and help centers for delinquent teenagers. I really like it so far! Today, when I went to my office to write a diagnosis to one of my clients with a bipolar compulsive disorder, I saw one of my coworkers get close to the secretary of the office. He started to lift her skirt and she looked really uncomfortable. I had so much rage in me that I wanted to punch him, but I could get fired for that. Maybe, I should just deter him and tell the boss about the situation.
Choice 1 : I lost my job.
Choice 2 : corruption.
When I saw the guy harassing the girl, I could not control myself, and I punched him right in the face. His behavior was simply unacceptable. Unfortunately, he told that to the boss and denied his misconduct with our coworker. He had proof that I hit him because he was bleeding, and I had no proof that we was harassing the secretary. The boss of the office decided to fire me... Now I have to find another establishment or work for myself as a private psychologist.

I deterred the perpetrator from touching recipient and, he left her alone. I told him that this kind of behavior was unacceptable and, he offered me $150 if I don't tell the boss. I accepted the money and, I threatened him that If I see a similar misconduct from him, I will automatically tell on him. In addiction to that, he has to bring me coffee every morning.
