I will be finally closing this chapter of my life as a college student but what's next?

After three years of working tirelessly, I am nearing the end of my college journey. However, I am unsure about what my next steps should be. I have been contemplating my options, but my parents are adamant about me pursuing a university degree. Yet, I am not entirely convinced if that is what I truly want. While obtaining a university degree would make me the first in my family to do so, I have been questioning my own desires. Should I continue my education and become a physical education teacher, or should I start over and pursue a career as a firefighter?

Choice 1 : Redo everything and become a firefighter.

Choice 2 : Make my parents happy and become a physical education teacher.

After making a difficult decision, I have disappointed my parents. However, I am confident that their disappointment will not matter in a few years when I have established my career. I am excited to have been admitted into the firefighter program, but I am unsure of how to best prepare myself for it.
