The end of high school.

It was the end of high school. I had two choices. The easy way and the hard way.

Choice 1 : The easy way.

As you saw before, going to study and play in the United States made me change my mind about going to Ottawa. Let's start from the beginning, two years ago I started working with an agency that could help me get a scholarship in the United States. At the start, no one contacted me, so I thought that maybe the States would not work for me. That's why I looked at the University of Ottawa. But, after a couple month, and a showcase coaches started contacting me. One day, the coach of ST-Bonaventure University contacted me. He was ready to invite on campus and talk money. So, couples weekend's later I went. My first visit went amazing. The first time, the coach wasn't ready to give me a full scholarship. The next visit, when I was leaving, he called me and said that he was giving me a full scholarship. He said that he was giving me 2 weeks to let him know my decision. Since I really liked the coach and the school, I said yes. That's why I am doing my 12 grade in a Cegep. I am leaving this summer to leave my dream. Even too it is going to be hard, I will give my all. After University, I will take a brake from school. I will maybe go play in Spain or in another country. Then, when I come back I will do an internship at my future. I will learn the ropes of the job, so I'll be ready to start a good career. I will for sure be overwhelmed at the start, but I will be a good intern. Also, my years studying at an American University will help me with my contact. It will give me a foot in the door to start a career with some advantage.

The easy way.

The first choice was to go at University right away. My parents and I felt like Cegep wasn't very useful if I wasn't in a technique. For me, playing soccer was a must. One day, I decided to contact the coach of the University of Ottawa. I was that they had a really good team, and the program seemed really good. He responded and said that he was interested and wanted to meet me. So, the next weekend my dad and I went to visit. The coach was waiting for us, he had planned a hole day. We visited the athletic center and other important part. I then did a game with them. It went well. I did an assist and we won like 3-0. He said that he really liked me and wanted to see me again. Couples week later he said that he wanted me, and I said yes. I didn't know I would get offer's from the USA by that time. We started the application, but it was so complicated. Before completing the application, my second option arrived.
