Choosing my Cegep program.

I'm studying at Externat Sacré-Coeur College to get my high school degree. I'm in my final year, and I have to choose what I want to do next. I'm not sure if I want to go in administration or in the Police program.

Choice 1 : Apply for the administration program.

Choice 2 : Apply for the police officer program.

Apply for the administration program.

I am happy to have chosen the administration program because this is a program where you learn a lot about the economy and how to have a company, but do I want to apply for the 2-year program or the 3-year program?

Choice 1 : Apply for the 2 years program in the Social Science.

Choice 2 : Apply for the 3 years program in Cegep.

Apply for the police officer program.

I am happy to have chosen the police officer program because this is a program where you learn a lot about the society issues and being a police officer is an important job. Now that I'm done with my study, I have to choose which organisation I want to go work for.

Choice 1 : Apply for the SPVM (Montreal Police Department).

Choice 2 : Apply for the SQ (Quebec security).

Apply for the 2 years program in Social Science in Cegep.

Choosing the 2 years program was a great idea because I will finish my Cegep sooner and will be able to go to university faster. After these 2 years, I now have to make another choice.

Choice 1 : Taking a gap year between Cegep and University.

Choice 2 : Going to university right away

Apply for the 3 years program in Cegep.

Choosing the 3-year program was a great idea because I will have more experience when I leave Cegep and I will be able to either find a job or go to university. Now that I finished my 3 years, another choice need to be made!

Choice 1 : Going to university right away.

Choice 2 : Taking a gap year between Cegep and University.

Choice 3 : Going straight into the working world.

Apply for the SPVM (Montreal Police Department).

I am so excited to have chosen the SPVM. I will be working with people who knew my parents and had worked with them. Montreal is a great city, and I am excited to be a part of this police organisation. But now that I found my career for the next 25 years, I have to find a place to live.

Choice 1 : House in the suburbs.

Choice 2 : Apartment in the center of Montreal.

Apply for the SQ (Quebec security).

Quebec Security is a great choice! I can work anywhere on the Quebec territory which is great. I would be the first one in my family to work for this organisation! But now I have an opportunity to go live in Gaspésie or to stay near Montreal, in Montérégie.

Choice 1 : Choosing to go work in Gaspésie.

Choice 2 : Stay and work in Montérégie.

Going to university.

Good choice! I am now getting my Bachelor degree in Finance, so I will be able to find a job in my field of study. But what do I want to do after getting my degree; I'm still very young.

Choice 1 : Going straight into the working world.

Choice 2 : Backpacking in Asia and Europe.

Choice 3 : Going to work as an Aupair in the UK.

Taking a gap year between Cegep and University.

Taking a gap year was the best decision for me. I love school and learning new things, but I am tired of studying and being under constant stress. Taking a gap year to go to travel the world and learn life experience was the right choice for me at the moment.

Choice 2 : Going to work as an Aupair in the UK.

Going straight into the working world.

I am done studying. I want to go find my career and start my life. I now have to choose if I want to buy a house and live in the suburbs or , if I want to have an apartment in the center of Montreal.

What a great choice! It's going to be such an amazing experience! I will meet people from across the world who loves travelling as much as me. Let the new experience begin! After this year of travel, I now have to choose what do I want to do next.

It's a great choice! I will be able to live in a huge city without having to pay for the rent or the food. I only have to take care of 2 kids while the parents are working. I will be able to meet new people and even find a student job. But now that this year abroad is over, what is my next step?

This is a good choice because if I have a family, it will be easier to raise children in the suburbs. It's also quieter and safer than the city. Now that me and my boyfriend are financially secure, we are thinking about having children, but we don't know if we should wait a little longer.

Apartment in the center of Montreal.

Great Choice! Having your place in a vibrant city when we are young is the best thing! Everything is close by, all the fun place are nearby, and you don't have to buy a car because there's community transport. But do I want to live on the Plateau Mont-Royal or Downtown in one of the new condo tower?

So cute! Plateau Mont-Royal is such a cute and perfect place to live. Everything is pretty and fun and there's always something to do! It's perfect if you like living in a big city but still want to live in a cute and unique neighborhood.

We decided to have our children now! We are so excited to build our little family, and we think that having them younger will be easier for us since we want 4 or 5 kids.
