I just graduated from high school. I have few options in front of me. First of all, I can stop education and continue to work on the family farm with my parent. They offer me the minimum wage to feed cows and pigs two times a day. However, this option won't allow me to take vacation during summers because animals won't feed themselves. I can also continue to college in business management. I've always wanted to have my own business. I don't know which type of business I want but having a commerce or a farm seems nice to me. Since this program is only given in Thetford, I'd have to move there from St-Zacharie. This possibility is really expensive I don't know if l'm able to afford it.

What It's Like to Be a Farmer.

I've been working on the farm for almost 3 weeks now. I really like it but it's exhausting. I start at 4:30 each morning, and I can leave only at 5. I'm not sure if I continue on this way. Today, we bought 4 cows. Normally, when they are not from our farm we put them aside for few weeks to make sure they don't contaminate other animals if ever they were sick. I'm really tired of my day and ports for cows aren't ready yet because my coworker decided to leave early. If I start to prepare the ports, I'll need to stay at least for another 4-5 hours. What should I do?

Well, I made the wrong choice. During the night a virus had spread and all of our cows were sick. Unfortunately, it's a deadly virus so they all died in the next week. We've lost for over million. My parent went bankrupt, and they disowned me for my mistake. I decided to move to thetford and study business management.

I told my parents that I did overtime to be able to put new cows aside on their own. They told me that they didn't tell me to do this and that they would not pay me those extra hours. After arguing for 30 minutes, I came to conclusion I wouldn't be able to get paid. I decided to quit. I was really angry, so I decided to move to Thetford to study business management.

Now that I've decided to move to Thetford, I need to decide where I'll live. I can rent an apartment with two boys I knew in high school. They were not close friends to me because they were partying a lot while I was shy. I can also simply take college residences, but they are not cheap. If I take residence, I won't be allowed to invite friend to study or even just to take a beer on Saturday night.

I never thought I would like it so much to party. I partied with them a lot. Like many students, I was alcoholics. One night, I had few drinks but fearless I decided to drive back home. I never thought it would be my last ride. I didn't see the red light and a van hit my car on drivers' side. My heart instantly stops beating. I wish I had never taken my car on that night.

Living In Residence Of College.

I'm on point to end my first year of college. I've met many friends in Thetford, and I couldn't be happier than I am. I'm pulling off straight A's in almost all of my courses, and it's now time for me to look for an internship. I have few business in mind, Desjardins, Agropur or RCGT. Desjardins offers the best workplace conditions, and it's the nearest place to where I live. On the other side Agropur offers the best salary with good condition too. Finally, RCGT is an accounting office, so that's what is the most related to my field of study.

They reached out to me, and unfortunately they told me that they were not looking for a trainee. I was a bit disappointed because I would have really liked to do OJT in a more related field of study. Instead, I can still apply for Desjardins or for Agropur.

Corruption.

Wow, I never taught working for Agropur would be like this. First of all, I realized after few weeks that the boss was flirting with the cashier. I never taught the HR would be such a perpetrator. I taught I could come in handy, but I didn't think I would get suck in this problem that much. Now, the boss is threatening me to fire me. To make sure I don't lose my job, I might give him a bribe.

Depression.

When I arrived, the receptionist ask me if I was applying on a janitor job. She laughed at me and told me that M. Gilbert wouldn't want to meet me as I was dressed. I decided to leave and come back home. I'm overwhelmed.
