After finishing a high school in my country of origin, Rwanda. I applied to university and my purpose was to study one of the five programs that I had chosen, but I didn’t get any of them. They gave me Clinic Psychology as a program of study. I was neither sure if I was going to put aside that program nor continuing with it. Finally, after realizing that I could find a school and a program of study in Uganda easily, I ended up going to Uganda, Kampala.

In my case, this internship also helped me to get foot in the door to skills about how to do the work, and to get connections that majority of just graduated candidate lack of. During this internship I was not receiving a wage. There was time that I was overwhelmed because I was asked to perform sometimes tasks that are beyond my capacity, but overall, I enjoyed internship.

After arriving in Canada, I have Worked so far to five different companies. All of those jobs, none correspond to my dream career. However, working over there allowed acquiring valuable skills and experiences. During one of those jobs, I had the OJT at Amazon facility. Compared to other OJT that I had before, I was receiving an excellent wage. The first day of training, I watched videos which were discussing ins-and-outs of politics and goals of the company. As trainee who were expecting to start working at first day, I was totally bored. It didn't take me long to know different bias of the company as they were printed in large characters on boards at a very corner of the site. One of the drawbacks of that OJT is that they were providing too much information in short period. I ended up forgetting some of the information which were provided at that day.
