What happened in Dr. Jekyll laboratory?

CHAPTER 1.

Yesterday was the worst day of my life. When I thought I had finally discovered why Dr, Jekyll and Mister Hyde got along so much, I found the second one dead on the floor of Jekyll's laboratory, and Jekyll missing. Now my head is a mess, why would they run away? Aren't they supposed to be family? But why did they get along so well? A few hours ago, the bank called me saying that they had a very large new sum of money in my name that had been left by Dr. Jekyll, but in order to access it he had a couple of conditions written in a letter. Now I don't know what to do, should I read the letter and follow the conditions or send it to the police and let them handle it?

Choice 1 : If you think he should take it to the police station

Choice 2 : If you think he should read it himself and follow the conditions

Option 1.

I took my jacket, my cane and my hat and left that house that kept so many secrets. I got into my car and started my way to the police station. Once outside, I rethought what I was doing, was this the right decision? What if I read it better? No, take the latch on the door and enter the police station. As soon as I entered I could see a row of empty seats, the station was empty. I approached the desk where the police officer on duty was. 'Good evening officer,' I said with a serious tone. ´´Good evening gentleman´´ said the officer with a smile on his lips. "I'm here because I have evidence that I think could be very helpful in the case of Mr. Hyde's death," I said, looking at him seriously. "I'm all ears." He gave him the letter, he opened it and read aloud -´´ Dear friend, if you are reading this I know because my plan failed and I am no longer here. Since you discovered my secret, I know you know that I am Mr. Hyde. I couldn't believe what I was reading, my friend who I thought was the noblest person on the planet was at the same time the most disgusting and evil person? I could not believe it. The officer looked at me intently and then laughed and tore the letter into a thousand pieces and threw it into the fire. "Sir, your joke is very good, but this is a serious case and we don't have time for your stupidity, if it is true, we need someone who really knows of this topic, not someone like you." I ran out of the police station, I needed air. It couldn't be true, Dr. Jekyll couldn't be Mr. Hyde.

Choice 1 : CHAPTER 2.

option 2.

I took a seat in the armchair that was in the center of the living room to think about what to do, finally I decided to open it, the intrigue was driving me crazy and I couldn't stop thinking about what the letter would say. When I took the letter out of the envelope, the first thing I noticed was that the letter had been written a short time ago due to the state of the paper, the ink was still fresh and the paper did not look yellow or old. I began to read the mysterious letter, it said: "dear friend, if you are reading this it means that my plan failed and I am no longer here. I already know that you discovered my secret, I know that you already know that I am Mr. Hyde, that is why that this letter is addressed to you. When I read that I was stunned, I couldn't believe what I had just read. Dr. Jekyll, my friend whom I considered the most noble person in the world was also the most disgusting and evil person. To this point I don't know if I want to finish reading the letter, and that's what I did, I broke it into a thousand pieces and threw it into the fire.

Choice 1 : CHAPTER 2.

CHAPTER 2.

Days passed, and I think I regretted what I did, I should have read the letter completely and alone. Now, I only have one thing left to do, discover the reason for their deaths, or rather, their death. I was completely disappointed in him, how he could have done something like that for so long without anyone noticing, without even showing remorse for the horrible acts he was doing. Talking to the police, they told me that they would hire a specialized detective for this case, to find out why he had died. But Jekyll trusted me, he trusted me with his most precious secret, so I believed that I would have to be the one who should follow his search, but I can't contradict the police, so I was thinking about doing it secretly.

Choice 1 : If you think he should continue the investigation alone

Choice 2 : If you think he should pay attention to the police

Option 1.

I couldn't not get into the topic that was already deep, so I decided to investigate on my own. Day after day, when the police left, I would sneak out and go into the lab, look for evidence, and write down all the evidence I found in a small notebook. I continued with my search but it was impossible for me to discover what was happening without the letter. I didn't give up, a month passed, two passed and when three passed I realized that I was never going to be able to discover the truth, not without that letter. I knew I shouldn't have let myself be carried away by impulse, I shouldn't have burned that letter. Now I will never be able to know what really happened to Mr. Hyde and Dr. Jekyll. How I regret the decision I made.

Choice 1 : CHAPTER 1.

Option 2.

I stopped burning my head and decided to get as far away from the problem as possible, is best to have those that really know take care of it and being as far away as possible, perhaps it would even end up affecting me in some way if I continue there. The truth is I'm proud of the decision I made, what's more, the sheriff thanked me for all the information I gave him and for not trying to interfere in the case. Now I have no problems in my life, I feel like I can now live in peace.

Choice 1 : CHAPTER 1.
