Hi everyone, I hope you're doing well, my name is Simon-Olivier Hébert and welcome to my mid-term oral. This is the perfect video, for those of you who don't know about Virtual Writing tutor and about my field of study.

So, I've been studying computer science for almost one year at Cégep of Saint-Hyacinthe. It is a very difficult program so, it is not for everyone. What interests me the most about it is programming. Later I would like to be a programmer in a video game company like Ubisoft Montreal, Square Enix and Techland.

OK, let me explain to you what is my field of study. Computer science is a program where you can learn a lot about computer. You could learn what a computer is made of and how to build one for yourself! You can also learn to code, so you can program some software you can sell or keep it for yourself. This field of study is incredibly gigantic be aware of it

There are a lot of terms and words in computer science and some of them could be difficult to remember how to spell it or write it correctly. And, if you want to look like a guy who knows his thing you'll need to write and spell them like a pro.

If you're a computer technician who doesn't know what is the name of the tool he needs to use, you'll lose a lot of credibility. Even if, your tool is a physical object or a software, you need to know what are their name.

To solve this problem we'll use Virtual Writing Tutor website which is a very useful tool to learn English

First of all, we will go on google chrome. Then click on the address bar and write virtualwritingtutor.com.

In the top left corner of the screen there is the logo of the website and in the top right corner of the screen there is an icon you can click on to send you to another website call ConverSolo.

Below the logo of the website there is a navigation menu.

At the top of the screen in the middle there is a text area with instructions in it. just over the text area there are submits buttons with an accordion button to the right which gives us a lot of other options. In the bottom right corner of the text area there are five buttons. Starting to the right, the first button download your text as a doc file. Next to it you can download your text in MP3 format. Next to it if you press the button with an audio logo you can hear what you have written in the text area. Beside the audio logo there is a spell checker and to the left of the spell checker there is an example of text

OK, now I will be in the skin of a computer technician. For example, I need to take notes of what job I did on a computer. So, I will click in the text area and write power suppli remove, is used a allin screwdriver. Then, if I click on the submit button check grammar, it will show me if I did some errors. Now I will correct my grammar and I'll click on the audio logo In the bottom right corner of the text area to hear what's the pronunciation of my note.
