Hello to all of my viewers. My name is Audréane and I have been in my program at Ahuntsic College for 1 and a half years now. I am doing a technique in Adult and Youth correctional intervention, and I really love my program. For those of you who don’t know about my technique, after college I could do several jobs, but I would like to work in the community environment. I would like to work with adult experiencing homelessness to be able to help them, especially during cold weather.
Today, I will show you how to eliminate errors in an email to a client. In my work I have to send emails to my clients about fairly serious aspects of their lives such as accommodation or even work, I need to be able to write a text without making mistakes. Nobody wants to look unprofessional in an email when there is a site I'm going to tell you about that can take care of that for you.
I must admit that I'm not the best student in French, I even have several difficulties with mistakes in my texts. I sometimes make mistakes, even stupid ones, I'm not an expert, so I sometimes make mistakes when I write. I have been reading that it would not be professional for me to send an email full of errors to a prosecutor or even a lawyer. I'm only at the beginning of my career, but I've honored my skills and developed effective techniques to minimize mistakes. I just started my program 1 year and half ago now, but I really want to help these people, so I am motivated to improve.
Since I was 14, every summer I have worked in an organization that helps disadvantaged people in Laval. I have also worked in several summer camps with children in difficulty, so I have been doing social work for a long time now.
My goal is to demonstrate you how to equip you with a practical tip to help eliminate errors and enhance the professionalism of your email correspondence with clients or else.
Get ready to elevate your email game like never before.
Stay tuned because I have a surprise for you at the end of my screen cast.
In my work, I sometimes have to send emails to people higher up than me, such as a lawyer, a judge or resources who can help my clients for example. When my emails are full of errors, I don't seem professional, and I'm representing my client poorly.
Unfortunately, my errors could prevent one of my clients from accessing a necessary resource due to lack of professionalism on my part.
For example, I might have to send email to find accommodation for my clients, but the owner might as well give the offer to people who seemed better by an email because they don't make mistakes.
But don't worry, In the next few minutes, I’ll show you exactly how to solve this problem.
First, lets open the website by adding a new tab, in the address bar at the top of the screen in the middle just type out the URL which is (virtualwrittingtutor).
In the top right corner in the screen there are some icons if you would like to share the website. In the top left corner of the screen there is a logo, just under that logo there is the navigation menu if you want to explore the website. Under the navigation menu, you have the instructions that tell you how to use the website. Right in the middle of the screen, is the text era, where you write your text that you want to check up. Beside the text era there is a microphone, it can be useful when you want to hear the pronunciation.
Personally, I prefer to use Check Grammar, because when I write my sentence for example I am loking for a building for my client Mr.Jean. In this case, my error is underlined in red, but if I click on the left side of the mouse, we can see our numbers of words and our grammatical errors made as well as suggestions for changing the error. So, for this example now I know that "looking" is with two O's, and I can change my email before sending it.
So, if you work in the same field of study as me or any other field of study that requires sending emails, here's how to avoid making grammatical errors in your emails to appear more professional.I promised I would show you how to minimize your grammar errors, and I did it using the website VirtualWrittingTutor.com.
I hope that was useful to you and before I finish, don't forget to subscribe and the bell, so you won't miss my next video. Also, share this video with all your friend!
