Hello everybody, my name is Noémie and I have a great video for you today. I am currently studying Social Science in college, this program involves courses like psychology and sociology, and offers you a large choice of fields of study at university. Next year, I am going to study criminology at university, which is a branch of psychology that concentrates on the criminal aspect of society and try to analyze and explain it. You have a large choice of career path with this field of study for example probation officer.
As I said earlier with criminology you are going to have large choices of career path which is super nice, but you will have to do a lot of paper work. Since criminology is mainly about analyzing people, you will have to do a lot of paper work to show your work progress. That can create a lot of pressure to not make any grammars mistakes because nobody wants to do a bad job.
That's why I'm going to show you a website that can help you. First, open your browser. Type virtual writing tutor into the address bar and hit enter. If, you did it correctly at the top of the page you are going to see a logo then below it the navigation menu, I learned about this website in my English class, and this is basically going to help you correct any errors you can make while writing a text. In the middle of the screen you have the text area where you can write, above it you have the spell checker that will show you all the mistakes you made while writing your text. Below the text area you have the submit button and below that in the bottom left corner of the screen you have the accordion button to have new suggestions of how to improve your text. You can even use the microphone on the right-hand side of the screen to write your text if you don't want to type it, all you have to do is a click on it and record yourself.
Now I'm going to show you how it works. Write something in the text area then, if you want to see and correct your errors, click on the submit button below the text area. When your text is going to be done and all of your errors are corrected, you can press the accordion button to see how you can improve your text to have a flawless and well-written work. In the top left corner of the screen, you will see the bookmark bar where you can add any bookmarks you want for an easy navigation.
So, when, you will have to write reports, and you will stress about mistakes you think you made, just go to virtual writing tutor and copy paste the text you wrote in the text area and your worries are going to be gone. Thank you for your attention and I hope that my video helped you.
