Hello, everybody! My name is Sonia and I have been studying in Prehospital Emergency Care since 2019 in college Ahuntsic. I am studying to become a paramedic, which is someone who is trained to give first aid or other health care to a patient while driving them to the hospital.

For those who are in the same program as me, we know that we'll have to write a report for every patient once we begin our career.

I'm not the best, but I have found a way to improve my writing without making a lot of mistakes.

I'm a college student, so I have been writing for years, and I always have good grades for it.

My goal today is to demonstrate how to write a report without making mistakes. I will use the Virtual Writing Tutor's website to improve my writing.

So, listen carefully to what I'm going to say, and follow every step from the beginning to the end.

You will be surprised by how easy it is to use the website.

When a paramedic is doing a report for a patient, it can happen that the patient's case will be revised to the court for some reason. The problem is that they could ask for the writing guide to understand better the situation that happened.

If the report has a lot of mistakes, the paramedic will lose credibility.

For example, They might have written the wrong verb to describe the age of the patient.

When that happens, I know just what to do. So, I will share with you the solution.

To begin, open your browser. Type into the address bar Virtual Writing Tutor and hit enter. If you typed the URL correctly, you will see this page.

In the top left corner, you will see a logo. Under the logo, there is the navigation menu. On the right-hand side, you can see the link to login. Once you have logged in, go back to the original page by clicking on the logo. In the middle of the screen, you can see the text area where you can write your text.

For my field of study, the best tool to use is the grammar checker. To use it, you have to write a text in the text area. For example, click on Example 1. After you finish your text, click on the grammar checker's tool. When you scroll down, you will see all the errors. On each error, there's a feedback, the error type and a suggestion to correct your mistake. Once you correct all the mistakes, your text will be better and the report will look more professional.
