Hello everyone! My name is Samia. My study program is called Accounting and Management technology, and I have only studied in this program for a semester at Ahuntsic College. In this field of study, some examples of courses are Accounting, Business Management, Macroeconomy, taxation, etc. My goal is to become an Accountant or a CPA. There are other career options such as an Accounting technician, an Auditor, a tax specialist and more.

If you are someone who's not fluent or familiar with Accounting terms in English, you can face some difficulties in your field of study or at your job.

If you don't understand Accounting terms in English, you can make mistakes that will make you lose credibility, or it can cost you a lot. As we know, an Accountant has to be very detailed and thorough in their job.

For example, if you work as an Accountant for an international or multinational company that have branches in English speaker areas, you will communicate in English instead of French. So, if the employee from one of those branches requested you to save a financial transaction in XYZ account for XYZ financial report, you can easily make a mistake if you didn't understand the word correctly.

It can be confusing, but there's no need to worry because I have found a great solution for that. I am going to show you how to use a website called Virtual Writing Tutor and how it may help you to solve this problem.

First, open your Chrome browser. Type the URL Virtual Tutor Writing.com into the address bar at the top of the screen and hit enter. If you typed it correctly, you would see this page.

In the top left corner, you will see the logo and in the top right corner, you can see the link to login. You can log in to your account. In the middle of the screen, there is the navigation menu. In the center of the screen, there is a text area. On top of it, you can find instructions where you can check your grammar, spelling and other buttons to help you improve your writing. In the bottom right corner of the website, you can find icons of social media platforms where you can share it.

In the middle of the navigation bar, there is a dropdown menu called Writing tools. From that list, you will find Glossary Creator. Click on the link.Write the title of your new Glossary in the text area and click new glossary. Then, you should add a topic for your Glossary. For example, Accounting. Write an introduction and click save. Enter the word you want to define by clicking on the edit button and click save. Add the part of speech. Add an audio file for the correct pronunciation, hear it and save it. You can add a definition from Google by pressing Go. Copy and Paste it then press save. You can add a translation in French or any other language you wish. You can add an example of sentence. You can add a picture for a visual representation if you want to. There is a preview of the words of the right side of the website. When you are done, you can click publish, and you have created a Glossary.

As I promised, I showed you how to learn field-related words in English by using Glossary Creator in the Virtual Writing Tutor website. In this case, it was about Accounting terms.
