Welcome to my screencast, my name is Kayla and I will be studying in the animal health technique next year. I am doing this screencast to show you a site that will help us in our future job.
Most of the technicians rely on the veterinarian for advice. But, here is a site to help the technician when they need answers to a client question and the veterinarian is occupied.
I haven't started yet in the animal health program, but I work in a veterinary clinic, so I know how things go.
My goal today is to show you the perfect site where you can go if you need answers to questions or when you just want to have more information on a certain aspect relied on the animal medicine.
Get ready to follow my step-by-step tutorial.
It is wonderful what you can do with the website I'm going to show you.
I've been seeing at the clinic that all the technicians are always waiting for the veterinarian to come back when they have a small medical question about an animal.
That's a little problem, because the veterinarian doesn't always as the time to answer everybody's questions.
For example, a client walks in and have a question about a specific disease. Normally, the technician will wait for the veterinarian to come back and ask her the question.
But, here is a better way to help the client to find out more about the disease without waiting for the veterinarian to come back. I have a great website that all technicians can use.
To go to this website, you will have to write it down in the navigation menu on google ''Veterinary Partner''. It will show you this great site.
First of all, when you open the page of this website you will see three articles in the middle of the screen that were the most read. If you scroll a bit down, on the left you will see nine topic categories. On the right, you will see other interesting articles, and if you scroll down more you will see the rest of the articles presented on the site. But if we go back up and we click on one of the topic categories, example : dogs, it will bring you to another page on the site. On the left middle of the page, you will see different categories for the dogs and more topic categories. If we look at the navigation menu, we can see other topics and more of the medications that are right for the animals. So now if you look at in the middle of the screen, we can see that there is more information about disease and their conditions. We can use our scroll bar to see more and more of them. If we try to see what a disease is, it brings us directly to the essential information about this topic. What is it? How can it be treated and the prevention that you can suggest to the client.
Now here technicians can find answers to questions without waiting for the veterinarian to come back. The technician can find more information, have more knowledge and be more proactive in his work.
So now that you know that this site exist and how to use it, you can be more proactive in your job and know more things about the veterinarian medicine.
