Welcome YouTubers! My name is Sabrina Levasseur and I'm a Social Science, commerce student at Saint-Hyacinthe College and I want to become a secondary Mathematics teacher. I have been in the program for three semesters, and I have learned the basis of commerce, so I do the same classes as the students in Social Science, but I have mathematics, so I can go in careers that need that formation. My future career implies that I will teach all kind of subjects, such as algebra and geometry. I will need to be clear in my explanations and will have to come up with a lot of examples and exercises. It will be difficult to make sure that every student in the class understand what I'm saying, and I will need to make sure they understand.

My goal today is to present to you the Website Netmath because I think it can really be useful for a math teacher.

As a teacher you could face the possibility that your students will need more practice than you have given them to do. In addition, this Website could be useful to make a summary of the subject you have seen with them during the class.

A student who has difficulty in mathematics should be able to practice at home to continue his learning. Also, making the exercises at the end of the class could be a great way to make sure that every student understood the class. In opposite, it could be at the beginning of the next class to make sure everyone remembers the learning of the last class.

The website Netmath could help you erase the problem with simple exercise on the site.

To access the website, you need to write netmath.ca in the address bar, and you should see this page appear. If you want to use it freely, you need to click in the bottom left corner of the screen the button called try out our activities. A new page is supposed to appear, like this. After, you are gonna select the icon twelve to sixteen years old in the middle of the screen. The next step is to scroll down with the bar at the right, and then you have all the maths subjects that are in the secondary classes. Then, with your students you can choose an activity, for example writing fractions and decimals, you click on try now just under the icon and then a new page appears.

You should have the exercises on the page, you can enter your answer simply by clicking with your mouse on the check icon.

To finish, Netmath is a great website for math teacher, because it could be included at the end of a class, or it could be useful for the learning of your students.
