Hi, my name is Ève, and I want to study in sexology at the University to become a clinical sexologist. The program addresses different areas of intervention in the field of human sexuality. It helps to learn more about the sexuality education and supportive relationships in matters of sexuality. The student will discover several practice settings, for example, in schools with young people or in sexual health clinics for a therapy.
In a day, sexologists deal with many problems related to sexuality in society and must have a lot of knowledge about them.
My goal is to show how to answer the question that a sexologist asks himself about the different sexual problems of people.
A sexologist will be confronted with answering questions from the public and finding solutions to their sexual problems. However, it can be difficult to remember all the problems, dysfunctions or appropriate terms related to sexuality.
So, it is important that a sexologist has access to tools to help his clients to respond appropriately.
For example, a sexologist receives a patient in his office for a therapy, and she explains her daily problem. She has recently taken antidepressants because she feels a lot of depression, sadness, and loneliness. However, she is experiencing side effects such as a low sexual desire, and she wants to know what other effects these drugs may have on her sexuality.
The sexologist doesn't know all the consequences, but she will be able to answer her patient's question with a scientific website for health.
