Welcome YouTubers! My name is Alexia Simard and I'm a GBC student, and I have been in Social Science for 2 years now who would like to be a Property Manager. Being a Property Manager implies a lot of things. The main task is to make sure that the leases come in on time, and that there are no problems in the everyday life.

If like me, you are getting anxious about property management and all the stress that it can provide, please stay and listen to my screencast. There are many things that we need to remember like personal information about the tenants. If the company starts, to grow it is impossible to remember everything. Am I right? I think like me, you don't have super power which can allow you to remember the name and phone number of a lot of people for example! Well, I think that there is a very small portion of humans being who can do that.

I have been working in this work for only 1 year and yet, I have so much difficulty remembering everything and to stay put and concentrate. It hasn't been long, but I can figure how much it's a hard work. Because of all the training that I was doing, I'm a lot better than when I started last year.

Just so you know, I have been in my family’s business for one year. I didn't do any exam because I'm still at the cégep.

My goal is to demonstrate how to use properly this application. I'm going to help you solve some future problems that you may experience.

The Problem

When you are at work, and you need to memorize some information about the tenant for examples, Proprio Expert will help you with that. In exchange for having a lot of notebooks about this type of information, it'll be on one application. Trust me, it will help you a lot.

If you don't write the right information about the tenant, they could think that you are not doing your job as it should, and they will do some complaints to the owner.

For example, the tenant is supposed to pay $800 per months, and you have written that he's supposed to pay $1 000 per months. The tenant will not be happy about that.

When that happens, just remember to be sure of what information you are writing in the application to avoid this kind of situation.

The Quest

First of all, open your browser. Type this URL into the address bar in the middle of the screen and hit enter. It's supposed to be this page opening. You need to add the application in order to use it.

Of course, to use this technology you need to create a user name and a password in order to be able to access it.
As you can see on the navigation menu on the top left-hand side of the screen, there's all of the option, information about your company, your buildings, the landlord, the unit, the furniture, the leases, the tenants and the supplier.

The Solution

Now, I'm going to show you how to do the basics, and how to organize the application has it should. First, as you can see there's a calendar in the middle of the screen. In the top left corner of the screen there's the name of your company. You need to click on the option where it's written "tenant".
