One of the Best Website for Social Workers - Screencast Related to my Field of Study

Introduction

Hello everybody! I have got a great video for you today. If you don't already know, my name is Coralie. I have been studying Social Sciences for two years at Cégep de Saint-Hyacinthe. Social Sciences is a program that involves a lot of fields. The fields that interested me the most is Psychology and Sociology. I recently applied to university in a program related in that two fields. I'm going to study to become a social worker. An example of a course that is giving in this program is Intervention processes: theory and practice. A social worker is basically someone who works with all types of vulnerable people to help them learn to live better lives. By doing that, I will need to have a lot of knowledge about the resources that I have to guide people in front of complex situations.

The Problem

All social workers want to help the people the better they can but that can be a challenge. There are so many resources, and so many categories of resources that it can be difficult to remember it all. I found a website with the help of Chat GPT that can help to solve the problem of the multiple resources.

The Quest

The website that will help to solve the problem is Canadian Association of Social Workers. So, let's open the Website adding a new tab. In the address bar, at the top of screen in the middle just tap the URL witch is casw-acts.ca. Tap "Enter." and, if you typed the URL correctly, you will see this page.

In the top left corner of the screen there is the logo. In the top right corner of the screen there is a search bar which makes it possible to find specific elements more quickly, the link to login in, and the link to change the language of the site. In the center of the page, there are announcements and news related to the website. Also, if you scroll down with the scroll bar you will see at the bottom of the screen in the middle, all the icons that show you how to contact them. And if you return up with your scroll bar, you will see, at the right of the logo, the navigation menu. There still a lot of things that I can show you on the website, but I think that the most important is the Resources part in the top right corner of the screen, in the navigation menu

The Solution

This part is the solution of our problem. If you put your cursor on it, you can see all the mains content related to it, and if you click on it, it will as a list. It is with this list that you will find the solution to the problems that I mentioned before. On the left top corner of the screen, under the logo, there is a link call Home to return to the home page of the site. Under the home link, all the resources are there. There are 14 resources, so I will not show you all because it would be to long, but I'm going to show you the most important. I was talking about help people in real life with resources, so I will show you the Practice resources. If you scroll down with the scroll bar, the second to last rectangle is the Practice resources. If you click on it, it will show you all the links of the different resources categories. Click on the Children and Youth link, and all the resources to help them will appear, with the link that can refer to the specific program. If you click the back arrow in the top left corner of the screen, you will return on the list of the categories, and you will be able to choose another one by the category that you need, and if you return with the back arrow one last time, you will be able to return to see all the list of the resources available to help people and make you do a better job.

The Conclusion

So, If you are in Social Work or a related field, with that site you will be able to solve the problem of the variety of the resources available.

I hope it will help, and I hope you will use it because it is really useful. If you have loved my video, please I want you to like it and to go following me. Have a great day. Thanks for watching.
