How can I learn business vocabulary fast?

Introduction

Hi, my name is Sara and today I will show you how to use the much useful Virtual Writing Tutor website. I've been studying Social Sciences for almost 2 years at Ahuntsic College. They are many branches in the Social Sciences field of study, but I've precisely chosen the business branch because I love everything about how a company works and the important aspects that a company needs to be successful. I've recently applied to 3 different universities, including the Concordia University in the Business Technology Management program. One of the reasons why I'm interested in business is because I love working in groups and this is most likely something that I will get to do in the future.

The Problem

Nowadays, the business industry communicates mostly in English so in order to be able to have a clear communication with my future o-workers, I need to know how to write and pronounce some of the business terms.

As part of my second English course, a website has been recommended to help me solve this problem.

The Quest

Now, you just want to open a new browser tab, and go ahead and write the URL in the search bar on the top in the middle of your screen.

Apart from the Virtual Writing Tutor logo and the share icons, you find a navigation menu if you would like to learn more about the website. Now, as you can see, they are some instructions that demonstrate how to use the website followed by a big text box in the middle of your screen. On the right-hand side of this box, you find both the microphone and the speaker icon that will be very useful if you are looking to hear the correct way to pronounce some words. Under the text box, you can see all the tricks that the website can do for you in order for you to improve such as spelling, grammar, etc.

The Solution

Two of the most useful tricks that the Virtual Writing Tutor can do are both the spelling and the grammar check. If you go ahead and write a sentence in the text box, the website will automatically tell you if you have made a mistake. For example, the sentence "I want to create my own company someday". You can quickly see that there is a spelling mistake. Now if you click on the grammar check box, the website will precisely show you your mistake so that you can go and correct it by clicking right on the word and selecting the correct way of spelling the word. If you preferred knowing the correct pronunciation you can go and write the word in the text box and then click on the speaker icon on the right. For example, the word "business".

The Conclusion

Now that I've shown you how to use this website, I hope you will use it wisely to improve your vocabulary, spelling, and grammar. Thank you for watching and have a great day.
