Hello, my name is Emilie and today I will show you how to use a grammar checker.
I have been studying in Springboard for 1 year at Ahuntsic College but next year I want to be in Police Technology. There are plenty of career you can choose if you want to be part of the Police but what I want the most is to become a detective.
To be a detective you must know a lot of words, and you have to make sure to pronounce them correctly. It can be a real challenge for new people in the field of study. This is why a grammar checker can help you with that.
When police officers want to arrest someone, they need to have proofs and use complicated words.
If you don't say the right word because you don't know how to pronounce it, you loose all your credibility.
This could be awkward for a moment, but I have the solution for you.
Let’s start by opening a new tab. In the address bar, at the top of the screen, I am going to enter the URL of the website.
In the top left corner, you can see the logo and on the opposite side, you have some icons if you’d like to share. Under these you have the navigation menu and a little under that you have the text area where you write what you want. In the bottom right of the text box you have a spell checker to help you with the pronunciation. Above the text area you have the button check grammar that will tell you your mistakes in the sentences you made.
For example, if I write “this criminal has is fingerprint all over the crimescene” I click on the same button and it will give me the feedback, the error type and it will tell me the correct way to write the word. I can also use the speech button to know how to pronounce the word. For example, alibi
Now, I know how to write the correct way of some difficult words and how to pronounce them correctly.
