We take courses in cegep social work program which teaches us how to help others in their problems and find solutions. Throughout my career as a social worker, I will have to help people in need such as children, veterans or hospital patients.I can also do social interventions in group like Alcoholics Anonymous. I have been involved in the program for one year.

Nobody likes to see others suffer. We all want to offer help to people in difficulty, right? Don't you think it would be everyone's duties to help others? No, one should be left out, and everybody should be.

When you are a social worker, it is not uncommon to have request for meetings by e-mail. Most of the time, this is how clients manage to join us, but it also depends on which institution you work for. For the hospital, it's going to be hospital that will send you the e-mail for the sick. If you work in a school, it will either be the teachers or the parents of students. If it's private, then it's going to be client who will send an e-mail. It is also possible to have difficulty pronouncing difficult word.

In an e-mail, it can happen that client make grammar, syntax or punctuation errors.
