How to post a job on Linkedln?

Introduction

Hello guys! I have got a great video for you today. If you don't already know, my name is Amanda and I am currently studying in Social Sciences. For those of you who don't know about Social Sciences, it is a program filled with classes such as Psychology, History, Sociology, and Anthropology. Those courses teach us a lot about humans, our evolution, our behaviour, how we interact with others and the society which we live in. This program opens us a lot of doors to many professions such as lawyer, teacher, social worker, psychologist, etc. In my case, I took this program because I want to work in Human Resources.

Like you, I want to make sure I will succeed in my future job. I want to be on task and know what I'm doing. Nobody wants to have embarrassing moments where they don't know how to do certain things they should know how to do. I certainly don't. If you are like me, you want to make sure you know what you're doing. Everyone needs a reminder from time to time. It is so easy to forget how to do certain things when you have learned so much, and have so much on your plate.

I haven't been a lot in the workplace. I only had two summer jobs therefore I don't know a lot about CV's, applying at jobs, job interviews, especially not job interviews! Just thinking about them I feel nauseous! With that being said, I do know that people who work in Human Resources are really familiar in those things because they have an input when it comes to hiring people, so I am really motivated to improve my knowledge as I am graduating to go to university. I'm not an expert, but I have started to do a lot of research on the subject. I know I am at the beginning of my career, but I already have this motivation to learn things that will be handy for me once I start working in my field.

I have a lot of people in my family who work in Human Resources so when they hear I want to study in that, they give me a lot of feedback, interesting information and show me things that will likely be useful for me when I graduate.

The Problem

Let me explain the problem. When you work in Human Resources, you have many things to do. Therefore, if there are certain things you can do faster and in a sufficient way, why not do them that way to save up time for other things?

If you have so many things to do, and you don't get them done in time, there could be many serious repercussions.

Imagine that you have so many things that are undone that it starts to affect employees and get to the point that the good management that you are supposed to maintain is started to get bad because everything you had to do isn't done. So many conflicts and issues between employees wouldn't be solved, and it could cause a really toxic environment.

It can be difficult to manage everything. But don't worry. I have found a solution to make you save up time for when you are searching for new employees to hire.

The Solution

Now here is how you want to proceed. You need to go to Linkedln. If you don't already have an account, sign up for one.
Once you are logged in, first thing you want to do is search for an icon that is titled job. So, once you find this option, you click on it. Now, you will see, this is the job option. You will be able to find different jobs here. Now, you will want to post a job, so you will have to click on the icon on the bottom left where it says post a free job. Now what you will have to do is just fill this right. The first thing you will want to fill in is the job title. So, let's say I am searching for a manager, I will put in a manager. Options as well will show up to help you be as most precised as possible to find faster what you are looking for. Now, you have to add your company name. Now, fill in your workplace type. Are you searching for someone who will work on-site, hybrid or remotely? Then, we have employee location. From where do I want to hire my future employees? Then, fill in the employment type. Search through the options to find what suits all of your requirements. Once everything is filled in, click on get started for free. Now we are on the second page to post a job. I now have to add a description to the job. Here, you need to add all of your requirements or any information you want to add related to the job. For example, I can put, looking for a logistics manager for our company. Need a bachelors degree in logistics with two years experience. After that, you need to add skills. Those are keywords that will help you be more precise with what you are looking for and make your job more visible to the right candidates. Simply type right here and add skills. Then, you have to select for Linkdin how you heard about them. Once that is done, click continue. Now, I have to add the applicant options that they will actually be getting. Now, I just have to fill in this information in order to reach the perfect candidates. You now have to decide how you would like to receive your applicants. For example, you select email, you have to add your email. You can also ask different questions. You have three options of questions. We also have the option to add screen questions. Once everything is done, click on post job for free.
