Hello, dear YouTubers! My name is Annabelle and today I'll introduce you to my field of study, the Social Sciences.
Basically, social Sciences is a program where you learn about psychology, anthropology, sociology to be able to help people later in the future.
I really don't like having difficulties that I can't resolve easily, and I'm probably not the only one.
In my future career, I'll need to talk as much English as French, and sometimes, I have some difficulties with pronunciations.
My goal today is to show you how to be able to pronounce correctly some difficult words that can be a problem sometimes.
It'll only take a few minutes of your day, so just stay and enjoy:)
When I graduated, in 2020, the pandemic just started, so for a year almost and half, I stayed home, and I didn't really talk to anyone.
By the lack of communication, I lost some of my social skills, that includes the pronunciation of complicated words.
For example, you talk with someone who doesn't talk the same language as you, and you try to explain something with details and there some difficult words to say, so you're just standing there trying to find a way to not embarrass yourself.
I know it can be really difficult, it happened to me too, but let me tell you something, what I'm going to show you will help you a lot with this particular problem.
First, open your browser. Type "virtualwritingtutor.com" into the address bar and hit enter. If you type the URL correctly, you should see this page.
You will stay on the principal page, as you can see there is a text area, for this tutorial, I will use this text area.
For my example, I will use the text area, so I will type the word "epidemiology" that I find difficult to say, I click on the little speaker at the bottom right of the text area, and the website will tell me the right pronunciation of the word!
So, if you are in psychology or a related field, this tutorial will have helped you to solve the problem of pronunciation that you have.
