Hey, guys. Welcome to my channel! My name is Marie-Soleil, I’m 17 years old, and I am almost going to study Diagnostic Imaging at Ahuntsic College. I’m going to be in this program next year, and I’m very excited about it. I have done so much research on this program that it's as if I was already in this technique. For those of you who don't know about Diagnostic Imaging, I'll explain what it is. I’m going to mainly learn about how the human body works and how to properly take "pictures" of the body with different machines. I’m going to take courses in biology which will teach me how to identify the right organs or muscles.

The work of a Diagnostic Imaging consists of researching, analyzing and writing many documents on the different medical diagnoses of a patient. It is very important not to make mistakes in writing or on the organs to be photographed because it could seem unprofessional. Nobody wants to do bad work because it doesn't look good, and you could get in trouble.

I know that writing in English can be challenging sometimes. I personally struggle a little bit, and it's normal when English is new for you. I'm certainly not the best student in my class, but I'm a lot better than I was when I started.

I have good grades in English and this website is a big part of that.

I want to help you improve your written English so my plan is to show you how you can minimize your mistakes that you could have easily avoided.

It will only take 3 minutes of your time.

All the things you can do with this website is insane.

During the semester, we don't have enough hours in the day to memorize everything we need to know. It is very difficult to memorize all the organs of the human body and their exact location in a very short time.

If you can not explain well or if you forget the name of an organ or a muscle, you will not get good grades, and you could fail your exams.

For example, let's say you're in a simulation exam, and the patient folder says we're looking for a double fracture of the right femur. You need to know where it is, what it is and also how to take the picture properly.

It can be very difficult, but don't worry, I have a solution for you. In the next few minutes, I will show you a website that was made to avoid these kinds of situations and save your day! Get ready to follow my step-by-step tutorial!

First, open your browser, and type www.virtualwritingtutor.com into the address bar. This is the URL that will bring you to the Virtual Writing Tutor's homepage.

In the top left corner, you will see the logo of the Virtual Writing Tutor, and in the top right corner, you will see the setting's menu. Under the logo at the top of the screen in the middle, you will see that there is a navigation menu which leads to different parts and tools on the website.

Now, this is where it gets interesting in regard to checking grammar as well as checking the spelling of certain words. When you get to the home page, you will see a text box in the middle of the page with different options at the top.

These options are the different parts of the grammar checker. You can check the word count on your text by clicking the ''Word Count'' button on the left-hand side of the screen, check grammar with the ''Check Grammar'' button right after the “ World Count“.
You also have the "Score Essay" button, the "Check Target Structures", the punctuation, the essay, the "Check Writing" and finally the "Check Vocabulary".

The operation of this site is simple, you just have to type your text or copy and paste it into the text area in the middle of the screen and use one or more of the options on top.

If you don't know how to write a word correctly as I said regarding my work, you have in the bottom right corner of the text area a microphone which records your voice, and then it's projects it into text.

We have many words and terms we use in Diagnostic Imaging program that you can write here.

You now don't always need to go and look for a definition or the pronunciation or grammar.

So, this website is very complete and can help you to avoid your mistakes. You can do it because you are in Diagnostic Imaging or in another field where it is important to write perfectly and without any spelling mistakes, or you can do it just to understand certain words of biology.
