Hello, my name is Léonie Tremblay, and I am eighteen years old. I have been in Social Science at Cegep de Thetford for two years now.

After having had several college courses on aspects of law, I decided to choose this university course. The law interests me particularly because the matter is concrete and precise. I'm very thorough, so it's very much in line with me. Also, everything is summarized in the civil code. However, I would only like to apply these laws to improve society in a more legal way by paper and that is why I would like to become a notary.

The notary therefore includes three years of baccalaureate study where we see only the laws of Quebec. Afterwards, I will have to do my master's degree like a notary to apply these laws in paper form for two years. I will also do internships to improve my practical skills during these two years. Even though I have a lot of study ahead of me, I take it very earnest because that's really what I want to do later.

Like I said, to become a notary is a lot of studies. We need to know many laws.

If I don't know some laws, I can not be able to do my work because I need them to create many legal documents.

For example, a client comes to see me for his wills after his death, I need some laws to be able to redact his testament adequately.

To help me remember these laws during my studies or when I would be on the job market, I just found a website of the civil code which I will greatly need. As I said earlier this site will help me special because it contains all the laws, I need to make legal documents. No context can hinder me when writing my clients' requests.

To go to the site, you just must type in the search bar https://www.legisquebec.gouv.qc.ca, and you will arrive directly on the Quebec civil code.

As you can see, the content is divided a chapter. To go even faster, you can simply click on the table of contents, and you will be able to see everything that the civil code contains.

If, I retake the same client who comes to see me for his wills after his death, I just must go to the civil code website. I'm going to go to the table of contents and look up what I'm looking for. For this case, I will go to the succession section and there I will find who can have their estate, transmission etc...

Thus, this website has all the laws that the Quebec have. It will help me throughout my career as a notary to make legal documents.
